Location was convenient in the city center, very walkable. It wasn't the most comfortable of places to stay, but it was clean. My room had an adjoining door that was locked, but did make me a bit nervous initially. I could hear the people in the room next to me pretty clearly, so that was the only major downside.

Nice place; poor wifi
Hotel was nice enough, though maybe not as nice as the photos suggest. Staff was quite friendly and accomodating. It is in a very good location of town. Main complaint was that the Wifi was virtually non-existent.

I was very disappointed with this hotel, that’s not what I had expected, at least according to the pics and description on main booking websites. It is just ok and for what you pay for, you can really get something better in the same area or elsewhere, I did my research and you really can. The whole bulding is pretty outdated and the interior of the rooms back this up. I change my room on the second day due to WiFi working badly, btw this is a real pain, the connection is just bad everywhere. Cleanliness should be improved. I found some trash underneath my bed. Breakfast is sooo poor, just a few items, mainly milk and croissants. The worst part is the staff (apart from one man at the reception). I came down one day to the hotel’s restaurant and ask the lady about the dinner. Not only did she not speak English (but it’s ok so nobody in the hotel) but she also was so rude and discourteous! I asked her in Spanish and she got back to me sa: “no you cannot have dinner, bye” without giving me any explanation! I’d found out later by the receptionist that hotel does not provide with it... but how rude is it? It’s not good for the hotel image. Anyway, I could really go on and on and trust me I’ve slept everywhere: from hostels to luxury hotels but this place isn’t worth a penny! Again, do your resale and get a better deal.

2 star hotel hidden in 3 star clothing.
Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was definitely not up to a 3 star standard. Hair on bed and stained towels. Under the bed had not been cleaned in months if not years. The toilet itself and the toilet seat were both loose and chipped. However, floors and walls were not too neglected. Breakfast area was decent, but the cutlery and dishes has remnants of food on them that the dishwasher did not get. Over all the value for money is typically what you’d find in the USA, but not the star rating. Next time be careful of deals that seem too good to be true.

Nice hotel in the heart of the city
Lovely hotel, clean, nice staff, very good free breakfast. The hotel is not brand new, so perhaps that is why is not getting more stars? The bathroom fixtures were a little "tired", but everything was clean and attended to, and the common spaces were very up to date. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

be aware of thief and near stay in this hotel
The hotel is located in main area of Buenos Aires; there are lot of rogues and thief near the street; they use spray to steal and it is very dangerous; the hotel management never informed and it is not acceptable as guests staying in the hotel should be warned about the locality and safety.

Adequate hotel for price
The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk to everything. Staff was very professional and helpful. Breakfast was a good start for the day. There was some construction going on in the building which I expect will be completed soon. The elevator does not go to all floors so there is some carrying upstairs of luggage if that would bother you.

The outside and lobby is goodbut when you walk into the rooms it's like walking into the rundown motel and that's the walls are chipping the beds are hideous toilets are old and the carpet in room smells. The price that is charge when booked online goes up when I arrived at the hotel before the check in time, even if it's specified on your reservation that you will arrive early they will charge you almost triple original price.this place has a good location but horrible horrible rooms. Reallydon't trust reviews that says this place is okay the rooms are crap everything is falling apart in there. A crack house probably is better looking inside than this hotel.

The hotel is through a process of renewing the room, they all have wood floors now and we are reforming the toilets too. Regarding the price, you should know that in argentina we have a V.A.T of the 21% that it is not included in the reservation. Finally, the hotel does not make extra charges for early check in. Not really a 3star hotel by american standard
We stayed here just for 1 night between flight connections. Hotel Did not really live upto 3 star rating. AC wasnt on before we entered the room and it was too hot. Also, AC was quite small so took sometime to get to survivable temparature. room was reasonably big.

Great service, convenient location and low price.
The staff has been extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. Could not have had a better experience in regard to service. The neighborhood (downtown) is convenient but of course not as charming as Recoleta or Palermo. The hotel condition is fair, and it is undergoing repairs (noise starts at 9AM). Overall a very good experience. PS Portuguese speakers will rejoice, as the staff are all eager to speak Portuguese to those who speak it.

Good hotel although our room was not like the pictures. We would have liked to stay longer but the price increased 4X overnight on what we had been paying for the same room.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Great location. Breakfast is good. Checkout 10am a little early for my tastes though. Rooms only get cleaned if you ask reception, we had the please clean tag on our door for days and nothing happened.

Good budget hotel in decent location
Triton is a pretty standard budget hotel. I stayed in a standard room with a queen size bed. The windows faced out onto air conditioning units on the next building, but I did not expect anything else for the price and location. The room was a really good size, with good a/c, a small fridge and a desk and chair. Plenty of channels on the television, with a few in English. My only complaint with the room is that there wasn't a remote control for the TV. I didn't ask for one though, so they may have rectified the issue if I had of asked. The room was very clean, and the bed comfortable. On check in, the reception staff spoke English. The wi fi in the room was very good. The centre of Buenos Aires is of course quite hectic and loud during the week. There is also some construction work going on close to the front of the hotel. My room was on the fifth floor, and I couldn't hear any noise at all. So, in summary, a good, clean, budget hotel.

Not much natural light
I found the room to have very limited natural light coming in as it faced inwards toward other rooms/apartments outside. The room was also a little depressing and not very modern etc. The staff were certainly friendly, helpful and friendly but the room was just a little high in price considering the quality I thought - but then again, I'm not sure the what else to compare with in Buenos Aires.

Hotel is convenient to almost everything. However outside street construciton made the visit unpleasant, but that is not the fault of the hotel. Would stay there again on next trip.

Nice staff but a bit unsafe area
We enjoyed our stay very much at Hotel Tritone. The staff was always very helpful and the breakfast was the best we had in Argentina. The room (double twin bed) was very fine although not the most modern but we didn't mind that. The only thing that was a little bad was that there were no ventilation in the bathroom. A very nice thing was that there were double windows so the noise from the street did not bother us at all - big plus! The street that the hotel is on seems a bit unsafe at night because it's pretty empty and a little dark. Nothing bad happened though so it could just have been a feeling.

great people, hotel needs some uplifting, overall a nice and clean place to stay. needs to URGENTLY put wifi internet in the rooms or I won't be able to stay there anymore. GREAT LOCATION, around the block from Florida St. and a 10min walk from Puerto Madero, where everything happens in Buenos Aires.

Great room and location for the money
Right in the heart of shopping area. Very quiet. The hotel can use a little updating, but it is clean and comfortable. I got a very low rate from Hotels.com and was very pleased. Breakfast was ok. They could offer more items, but it is free. Free internet access and wifi. There are two convenient stores nearby so you can get beverages and snacks. Florida Street is right around the corner, and if you don't mind walking, it's a 20 min walk to Recoleta. BA is really walkable. Galaria Pacifico is a block away with many great shops and a huge U.S. style food court.

A localização do hotel é perfeita, os atendentes sao atenciosos. O prédio é antigo, mas é muito limpo e tudo funciona bem, ar condicionado, chuveiro, cofre, frigobar. Acho que merecia mais cuidado com as toalhas, sempre furadas ou rasgadas, travesseiros bem ruins, e o secador de cabelo estava quebrado, mas foi reposto.
