Hotels near Canopy Bay

"The front desk reception was incredibly rude ! In particular the2 females with glasses .when I landed from Canada I was so hot with heat exhaustion- I literally begged for a water and was told “ this is not all inclusive go down the street and get one !!!” I’m allergic to feathers and even though they speak English just fine they REFUSED to give me other pillows !!! Fridge was not working —- was promised a beutiful view —- room had no balcony and overlooked dirt and overgrown weeds . About my complaints the glasses receptionist made it her business to glare and stare at me and very time I left my suite . “ Irna “ was her name . When I needed a shower on arrival discovered there was NO soap in the dispenser AND the ac did not work !!!!!! Horrible place !!!!!"

"It was a wonderful short stay and we would be happy to return any time! Breakfast buffet is genuinely the best I've ever had in my close to 20 years of traveling. Kudos to the staff!"

"Yes everything was Fantastic! The staff couldn't have been Nicer! The all inclusive drinks (top shelf) and Food couldn't have been better. The one thing I would like to tell the Hotel is that you should tell the people that there is a short step about about a foot underneath the cercomerene of the pool for people to sit on. Unfortunately I didn't know it.wae there. And there were no worning Singhs about it anywhere around the pool. .l serverley bruised my tailbone but I didn't Tell anyone,.but there are a ton of people that would have for a Huge $ MONEY GRAB!! So post some signs around the outside of the pool or the next person who this happens to may cost you a fortune in in league experiences?"

"Elevators were out and sometimes took a very long time to wait for one. Food was okay as well. Not the best but also not the worst. Check in process was simple depending on who you get. Some staff gave little to no explanation. Some restaurants are closed during certain days or times and re open. I thought this would be helpful for someone else to know. Also I don’t think there is fire alarms in the rooms. We had a housekeeper clean our room and she left a bag of food and snacks on top of the electric stove and it was on. When I went back upstairs to our room the room was FULL of smoke. No alarm went on very hard to breath. Did not get our purchases refunded by them. Would probably not stay here again. I love the one in Cabo not this one.."

"Lovely resort, away from the craziness that can be PVR! Beautiful suite, next time I’d book something smaller just for me. Several options for dining, however I found the buffet and room service food disappointing - the service was impeccable always. The more formal option dining room “Andrea” did provide beautiful options all day and interesting theme nights. I can still taste a pasta dish with lamb on Sicilian Night!!"
