"This was our third trip to Casa Velas. We thought it couldn't get any better and then we saw the new breakfast menu and wine list. So glad to have some lighter options for breakfast, and the new wines are excellent. Of course it’s the staff that always makes us want to keep coming back. Notably, Camila, Gerardo, and Omar at breakfast; Enrique, Carlos, and Antonio at Tao; Avaldo and Ramon at the Aqua Bar; and Daniel, Gerardo, Rigo, Rosacio at dinner. We’re already planning our next trip back! Not a complaint, but the only thing we’d like to see different is if Casa Velas would offer the build-your-own pasta dish offered for dinner, as it’s currently only on the lunch menu. The lunch menu at Emiliano's is so great, but we usually find ourselves at Tao or Aqua Bar..."

"We had a great time staying at the Mio. Rooms were very clean,location is great close to Marina and Malicon. Very nice pool on the roof. Breakfast in morning is excellent. What we really liked was price per night very fair. The only issues we had is the hotel is located on main Street which produced some vehicle noise and we felt the price for food and drinks are quite high for Mexico. We will stay here again but will avoid eating or drinking at pool."
