"I was happily surprised by the hotel. Wasn’t expecting much. Staff at checking were helpful, could have been more clear about charges (breakfast and parking). We were a big group and had a great time. Lit from the restaurant and bar was very nice and helpful!! Breakfast was good"

"The hotel was a really good we were pleased with our choice particularly with other high ranking hotels in the mix! The staff were extremely warm, welcoming and helpful and the package we got made our stay extra special for our first wedding anniversary! The bar was nice and relaxed and a great range of drinks! We stayed breakfast but chose to have breakfast just one of the mornings initially so we could experience a breakfast in the centre of Cardiff. The breakfast was average and although we ordered our coffees none arrived - this was probably due to how busy it was. The breakfast we had the following day in Cardiff, although slightly more expensive, was delicious, fresh and promptly given. The location of the hotel was excellent! The pillows could be slightly more firm and it was noisy at times in the night due to other guests. Other than these minor things, we had a great time! Thank you 😊 "

"Ideal central location although no city view, despite booked. Room very clean and plenty of room. Comfortable beds. Dressing gowns handy in bathroom. Great selection of teas and coffee provided 😊. Breakfast service and selection of food excellent."

"Great central location. Excellent spot if you are into night life. A little noisy for older folks like us. Older hotel but with modern updates. Safe location and very close to trains. It is a bit of a longer walk but Cardiff Bay can be walked to from the hotel. Staff was professional. Room was clean but the floor was sticky at the window end of the room. Didn’t have breakfast. Took the train so didn’t park. "
