Even though nit accessible by public transit, this was a beautiful property located in a quiet and peaceful area. The property itself is a destination worth visiting with historic significance. Clean property and friendly staff. Good breakfast is provided. Good value for money.

This property was incredible. I believe it is a converted monastery. This is perfect if you would like a bed and breakfast with charm, out in the Tuscan countryside. It was exactly what we had hoped for and more. It is located on a hill overlooking Siena, about a 15 min drive from the city. The hotel is surrounded by wine vineyards and olive tree groves on all sides including on the way up the property. The property itself makes its own wine, olive oil and honey. The rooms were charming and felt like they were a few hundred years old. You trade luxury for authenticity at this hotel, such for us was well with it. We stayed in a 3 bedroom. It does only have one bathroom to share. It had a kitchen with the essentials, including a cooktop, dishes, and a refrigerator. We did cook simple food in the kitchen with pots and pans. There were old steep stairs inside the apartment to reach the 2nd level where we had 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The view from the balcony was beautiful. They have a restaurant on site which was great. We are there one night. Their olive oil was the best I’ve even tried. The included breakfast was incredible. It has so much variety including pastries of every kind, pancakes, eggs, bacon, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, local meats and cheese, breads, cold cereal and milk, etc. It has something for everyone. It’s was the best breakfast we had during our 2 week European trip. The property itself has an Italian garden, beautiful spacious grounds, and chapel with frescoes

This is the most amazing place! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The meals were some of the best we've ever had. The breakfast buffet also the nicest ever. Now imagine this 13th monastary set in the most picture postcard place. The gardens and chapel are incredible! If you are in the siena area you must stay here!

I randomly chose this place from Google maps. What a gem! I cannot say enough how much I enjoyed my stay here. I hated to leave. The grounds are unbelievable, restaurant is excellent, food top notch. I recommend to everyone.

This a beautiful off the beaten path Seems like a resort it’s so perfect the breakfast was awesome and the grounds were impeccable. This would be the perfect place to get married. Set in vineyards and Olive trees.

A piece of heaven in Tuscany
This is a fabulous choice when touring in Tuscany. Easy access to many hilltop villages as well as Florence and of course Siena. The property is quiet, full of charm and mystery. The restaurant food for breakfast and dinner was superb. And to eat overlooking the gardens! Wonderful!

Great property that exceeded our expectations. Very tranquil, with incredible privacy when staying in the “apartments”. Only 15ish minutes to Siena, and five to ten minutes to surrounding wineries. Staff was friendly, and food options were decent. We would definitely stay here again. Only complaint would be the qualities of the mattresses. Pretty rough.

A Delightful Stay in a Former Monastery
Staying here was a highlight of our entire trip. The property was so historic and so beautiful and serene. The chapel frescos resembled those of the Sistine Chapel. Breakfast was bountiful and the staff was charming. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. It was a privilege to be a guest here. The property was 3 km from Siena, nestled between vineyards and rolling hills. You definitely need a car to tour the area.

Unfortunately this was not a good experience, check in was slow I booked 3 rooms for the whole family. You have to haul away luggage’s far from reception on very uneven ground Terrible experience at restaurant, forgot ordered dishes and ride when asked, overcharged Breakfast was nice and grounds are very interesting and nice but service is really subpar which makes it for poor experience Rooms close to reception are noisy as you hear delivery starting at 5 am Better in the cloister

The location is wondefull, the building and rooms are beautifull, the service exemplary but we came to this remote hotel for a quiet and resting time to be exposed to bad karaoke session of an event participants until late at night. Make sure that there is not noisy event the night you book.

This property is the most unique stay you will ever have. The view of the surrounding area is absolutely breathtaking. When picturing an idyllic Tuscan countryside, this is it! Sleeping in a room with so much history and character was humbling. Included breakfast was amazing. Hopefully we will be able to stay here again some day.

We are so glad we found this lovely place to stay! It was one of the highlights of our trip! We only stayed one night but will definitely return and highly recommend it. The grounds are lovely, the views spectacular, breakfast is wonderful as well as other meals at the restaurant. It is 20 minutes outside of the beautiful city of Viena. The only negative aspect could be that the location is remote and you need a car to get there.

This is a very interesting place. It’s in a very quiet area outside of Siena by about 8-10k. You can reach it by local bus for 1.5 euros. However, you really need a vehicle or a bike to get around the area. It’s a great place to do one of the many bike trails nearby which you can Google. Beautiful area. Very good breakfast even though the staff do seem to hover a bit. The rooms have been left ‘rustic’ so you really do get a sense of it having been a monastery.

This property was well kept and had the best views of Siena. We were so happy we booked an extra night. The staff was wonderful. There's a restaurant and bar in the hotel that included free breakfast which was also really good. Overall the place was amazing!!
