"The hotel itself is nicely decorated and modern. Check in was easy and staff was quick to help with the mostly self serve check in and out. The breakfast was delicious and worth the price. Unfortunately I wish I’d researched the area better. We had to walk quite a distance to find dining and cocktail options and felt a little unsafe in the immediate neighbourhood. "

"Not your run-of-the-mill hotel. Older property steeped in history with warm, interesting architecture with a lot of heart. Excellent staff -- especially Falcon at the front desk and Raul at the pool bar. I had a little trouble keeping the room temperature constant, but I'll attribute that to user error. Overall a truly enjoyable experience that I hope to repeat soon."

"I just wanted to give a special shoutout to Brianna who went out of her way to wish me a happy birthday! She provided me with some great insight about California seeing as this was my first trip to the West Coast and the staff overall was just so amazing and attentive!
