"Great property, was a good experience being able to stay in a more traditional home away from big hotels and further from the tourist areas of Jiufen. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed and the extra food and drinks were appreciated. The only issue we had was that the location on Google Maps was not accurate and we got lost trying to find it the first time; however afterwards we realized it was actually in a great spot not too far from the Old Street. "Okay walking distance from the train station, but check-in was terrible. I didn’t receive any details until standing outside on a rainy day trying to figure out how to call a local phone number, which was eventually answered by someone who only speaks Chinese. After an awkward minute on the phone they hung up, but a few minutes later I finally got instructions on how to get inside.
The staircase inside is very tight and carrying suitcases up is quite difficult. Once inside, the room is clean...

"This hotel is conveniently located in Da’an within walking distance to public transportation and shopping. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable. Overall, I would stay here again!"
"The room was clean and the amenities were easy to use.
A lot of options, including healthy options, were available at the breakfast buffet.
Checking in and checking out were easy and didn’t take much time. The staff at the front desk and the concierge were polite and helpful.
The station for the bus #1960 taking us to and from the airport is conveniently located at a short distance from the hotel.
Overall, I would gladly recommend this hotel to travellers to Taipei.

"We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for one night and it was amazing! From the decoration in the reception area, the cleanliness and the beautiful room I received everything was top notch! As Expedia members we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite that had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to the 101 Building which has shops, a food court and entertainment. I only wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Very clean, staffs are very nice, friendly and helpful. However I wish the hotel sign outside can be more visible from the street because our taxi driver missed it."
