"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. The location is on the main drag which is nice. But it should be 1/2 the...

"Nice location and off the beaten path. An easy 15 minute drive to most things we wanted to see; zoo, central Nagano, Nagano station. Easy parking, nice relaxing hot bath on balcony. It was an older Ryoken but maintained and Friendly staff. "

"Great location, just a short walk from Nagano Station and easy to find. It's on the same road that leads to Zenkoji Temple. For a two-night stay this met my expectations. Facilities were clean and tidy. I also had the chance to dine in at their Mash Cafe - it was a nice, cozy ambiance and the food and drinks were delicious. Staff both at check-in counter and cafe were very friendly. "

"Stayed 3 nights in an executive room on the 10th floor. It was clean, spacious, and with a good view of the station and the mountains. Will stay again."
"Only 5-7mins walk to Nagano St. Many options of dining restaurants around hotel and station. They provided all amenities which we needed very complete, there were (if i m not mistaken) 4 or 5 coins-laundry machine with its dryer near lobby/receiptionist area on the Ground/1st floor. We really had wonderful 4 night-stays here! "
"The owners made us feel very welcomed. We enjoyed their homemade traditional Japanese breakfasts, his and her onsen bath, and the care they took to make us feel comfortable. We cannot recommend this highly enough!"
"The hot spa for women only and men only was the highlight of the day. Reception staff were wonderful and the room was very clean.
Location very close to train station a plus. Very easy to find bus to visit snow monkeys."
