Nice stop on the way to Koh Tao
Two night stay before going on to Koh Tao. Room was clean and had everything I needed. I particularly liked that the room was dark and the bed very comfortable so I slept well. Very convenient pick-up to Koh Tao ferry. I walked from the train station, about 12 minutes. Night market and shopping mall nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. Check first if you plan on using the pool, when I was there, it was closed for covid. I enjoyed my day in Koh Tao.

Shipping Container and chill
This was a fun Hotel. Swimming pool was great, and so was the staff. The area is nice too, very close to the rail station and there's a good sushi place nearby (Dosos, I think). Would mind staying there again, but would opt for a room with the balcony.

Small but comfortable
This budget with container-style hotel is located in night market area, where you can access to most places you need: 7-11, local restaurants, and train station. The hotel also provides snorkeling tour and airport shuttle van with reasonable price. Staffs are nice, too. Really recommend to stay!

Relaxing...........
The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. The staff was very accommodating, I had hand washed some clothes and needed somewhere to hang them, they graciously offered me some space in their laundry area, in the back. The pool was relaxing and inviting, it was nice to be able to lounge in the pool and have a couple of beers with friends.

Cool hotel with great staff
Stayed one night before catching the ferry. Staff very helpful! Confirmed our ferry reservation, coordinated the early morning pick up and ensured breakfast would be ready early for us (all without being asked). Room is small but all we needed and well designed. Loved the design concept. Easy walking to good street food and local restaurants.

Modern hotel in a charming town
I came through Chumphon on my way to Koh Samui. This little city has a great community feel and very welcoming. I love the Retro Box Hotel. It's industrial modern vibe is totally My style. The staff are extremely Friendly and so helpful. I was able to walk where I wanted to go, and the Song Tao to the beach is just about 30 baht. Definitely recommended !

Good concept, nice and snug, my only problem was guests were using the pool and being very noisy at 6.30 am maybe they should only be open from 8am

Für einen Zwischenstation ok
Sehr nettes Hotel für eine Nacht, im Zentrum jedoch sehr leise, nur in der Anlage alles eher hellhörig, Klima sehr laut Sleep Funktion funktionierte nicht, Pool sauber und abkühlend, Frühstück leider sehr enttäuschend nur Toast, Cafe und Marmelade, auch der Hahn nebenan krähte durchgehend ab 5,30 morgen

Great stay at the Box
We had a great stay at Retro Box Hotel. The room was compact and tidy, nice little balcony facing the pool. Only thing that needs to be improved is the breakfast. Some fresh fruit would be nice.

โรงแรมอยู่บนถนนอาหารของชุมพร มีสระว่ายน้ำขนาดเหมาะกับเด็กเล่นมากกว่า โรงแรมออกแบบได้แปลกตาดี ห้องที่พักเป็นตึกเก่าเอามารีโนเวทใหม่ ห้องน้ำระบายอากาศได้ไม่ค่อยดีทำให้มีกลิ่น ไลน์อาหารเช้าน้อยไปหน่อย

半端な立地ながら使い勝手は良い
駅からだと徒歩15分弱、夜の屋台街を抜けるとなるとなかなか大変。しかし一旦チェックインしてしまえば、コンビニも近いし非常に便利。空港送迎も良心的価格設定。空港以外にはトゥクトゥクを呼んでくれる。 室内は値段の割に清潔。シャワーの温水もしっかり出る。朝食は大したことないが。

Mycket annorlunda detta containerhotell i Chumphon men charmigt. Tyvärr var det ihållande regn under vår vistelse i Chumphon så inga utflykter utan mesta tiden på hotellet. Rummet städades inte en enda gång utan vi fick säga till om mer toalettpapper och utbyte av handdukar vilket skedde inom 5 minuter. Dåligt isolerade containrar vilket gjorde att man hörde vanligt prat in på rummet, mycket störande. Frukosten enkel och borde kunna vara bättre.

Gutes Hotel um vor der Überfahrt nach Ko Tao eine Nacht in Chumpon zu bleiben. Individuell und nett. Frühstück auch schon um halb fünf möglich.
