"Our stay at Woodlands was wonderful and relaxing and so peaceful since most of it was watching the gorgeous snow fallling and NOT having to drive in it! As I was checking out and had actually left the lobby, I noticed that I had lost an earring. I returned to the front desk and the man went with me back to our former room (II had already turned in our keys) and helped me find it. We really appreciated the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Woodlands Inn and Resort is about our favorite place to stay in our very favorite place in the world - Williamsburg."

"The staff is wonderful. Check-in was a breeze and very courteous. Diana at the bistro made my evening by correcting my meal. It made all the difference after a long drive from Charleston, SC. The room was clean but could stand a bit of updating. Furniture is a bit beat up. Beds were not made to Marriott standards, even if it is a Courtyard. For downtown Norfolk, I expect a bit more."
