Best Western Plus College Park Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Great Stay in College Park with Excellent Dining Nearby We had a very nice stay at the Best Western in College Park. The hotel amenities were perfectly fine for our visit. There was no pool, but that really wasn’t a problem for us. The continental breakfast was available each morning, but after taking a look at the selection, we decided not to eat there because it was fairly basic and didn’t really appeal to us. It could benefit from a little more variety and some improvement in quality. Fortunately, there were plenty of great breakfast options nearby, so it wasn’t an issue for us because we spent a lot of time enjoying the surrounding area. One of the best parts of the trip was definitely the food in Maryland. There is a Denny’s directly across the street from the hotel, but unfortunately, I would not recommend it. The food there was very disappointing and I knew this because I’ve been to Dennys before years ago but because of its location and it said newly renovated, I said let’s give it a try. Thankfully, we found some fantastic restaurants nearby. Iron Rooster, about six minutes away, was absolutely superb — the food was delicious and easily one of the highlights of our stay. We also enjoyed wonderful soul food at Silk Restaurant and Lounge and had a great happy hour at King Street Oyster Bar in DC. There are plenty of dining options in the area, which made the location very convenient. Overall, the hotel worked well for what we needed, and having so many excellen"
