Property is in a nice location, and is different to the standard hotel, it is an apartment within a block, and is very safe. Bathroom is huge. Stefano was a great host.

Unique experience - it was right off the lake. The couple who greeted us were very kind and thoughtful, but they didn’t speak any English only Italian and French so it was a fun experience. The place is super clean, quiet (with the windows closed), comfy and they gave us a bottle of wine, on the house, as a welcome gift. It was hard to find, you definitely need some help finding the place, but don’t give up, just ask the locals and they will help you find it. Parking is a bit a of an issue, yellow spots are for the residents blue are for the guests.

Stefano is nice accomodating ,place are very nice you can see lake como infront of his house clean and very good location near to everywhere like pub near train station and bus station only 5 minutes walk .I definitely recommend this place .Thanks a lot Stefano .

Fantastic stay! Stefano is a lovely guy and great host. Our room was spotless and had huge bathroom. Bed was amazing, like sleeping on marshmallows! Apartment is 2 mins from train station, bus station and ferries. Lots of bars and restaurants too. If you stay you must go on the Furniculor which is 5 mins walk and goes to the top of the mountain Brunate, which is beautiful x

The accommodation at L’Approdo was superb. The room was incredible with a real old world charm about it. Stefano was a fantastic host. His communication was before and during our stay was excellent. The area has plenty of food choices to select from and is walking distance to most sites. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Brilliant stay- we will come again
One of the best hotel/B&B stays ever. Stefano greeted us on arrival & oriented us with the building and room facilities. We loved the modern bathroom mixed with the vintage bedroom style. The bathroom fixtures, designated shower area and standalone bath were brilliant. Even though it was in the middle of winter, the accommodation was heated comfortably. The bed was cozy and we slept very soundly. The area was quiet even though it’s close to the promenade. We enjoyed the number and variety of snacks plus coffee + tea-making facilities. We also had adequate drinking water supplied with the room. The location is perfect for the lake, Como Lago train station, funicular station and eateries. Really good value-for-money. Stefano was always contactable and friendly. The points of improvement would be perhaps to add handrails/ no slip flooring in the shower area as it gets slippery when liquid soap is used; cleaning stains in the shower grout (understandably these stains develop over time very easily); using less plastic for water bottles + toiletries; and better internet connection as this tended to be very slow or drop altogether.

Honestly was amazing, had a great time staying here. The room was perfect and quiet, bathroom was newly redone and lovely. Central location close to boat dock. :) Would stay here again.

Stefano was absolutely an amazing host! He went out of his way to contact me before our arrival so he could greet us when we arrived. The accommodations were comfortable and the bed and breakfast is centrally located in Como-making it easy to explore the town and have access to other modes of transportation to explore other towns on the lake. Highly recommended!

Excellent property and location in Como, less than a couple minutes walking from the train station, ferry ports, convenience stores, waterfront, and multiple restaurants. The host Stefano was very friendly and welcoming. The room was great for the price paid, and the bathroom was very large as well as fully updated. Could not have asked for a better location in Como - we truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to future travelers.

Stefano, the owner, was so friendly and helpful, from the point of booking 6 months earlier, he got in touch and any questions I had were answered immediately. While in Como he was always on hand to help either in person or by WhatsApp. The accommodation had everything we needed, the mini fridge was really useful during the hot weather and our room had a side lake view. It is in the best location possible with restaurants and cafes on the doorstep, just a few steps away from the lake front and piers for the ferries, and a couple of minutes walk to the train and bus stations. The funicular railway to Brunate is also less than a 5 minute walk away and is worth visiting. The shops are a 5 minute walk in the other direction so the location of this accommodation is perfect. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Como. Thanks again to Stefano for being so helpful and accommodating!

There were quite a few amenities like a refrigerator, coffee/coffee maker, snacks, beverages, A/C, clothes dryer. The location is excellent, close to ferry, a bus station, the incline. Super clean, And the host is delightful, responsive, kind!

We enjoyed a 4 night stay in our comfortable room. This a a perfect location close to restaurants and the shopping district. Being lakeside was amazing !! And we almost felt like a local. Lake Como
As the accommodation does not have a reception, we were given a comprehensive overview of the room and access to the building upon arrival. The room was comfortable and spacious with a large bathroom. The location was convenient to restaurants, Lake Como ferry wharf and funicular rail station.

The property is clean but room is a bit dated. The bathroom has been updated and is wonderful. Mattress needs to be changed, No support. The location is great. Although the descriptions states lakefront. The building is but room is at best lake view . Overall you don’t stay in your room and location makes up for it.

We stayed four nights for a long weekend. We stayed in a spacious room with a very modern and large bathroom with bath and shower. At time of booking ten months ago we got an email from the owner Stefano who kept in touch and was ready to welcome us upon arrival. This property is a hidden gem it’s location is superb as it’s close to the centre and the train station and yet very peaceful. Service and support while we were there from the owner in person and via WhatsApp was welcome. Very highly recommended.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at L'Approdo di Sant'Agostino and cannot say enough wonderful things about it. The location is perfectly located in the center of restaurants, shopping and the train station. No need for a car bc the train goes from Milan to Como. The lake is directly across the street from this B&B and we had a beautiful view of it from our windows. Accommodations were lovely with a clean, big room and spacious bathroom. Stefano greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the property and was the absolute sweetest man always checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!!

I absolutely loved my stay here, the location is fantastic next to the lake and literally a 2 minute walk from the train station. My room was lovely, clean and huge bathroom. Friendly , clean,near to restaurants train.
The place was so clean especially the toilet, it was so big nice and clean..We were welcomed by Stephano . He was so helpful and friendly. Will recommend to my friends.

Perfect location, beautiful rooms & great host.
Perfect location, beautiful room & fantastic host who went above & beyond to welcome us during our stay. Off site parking was very close, and very inexpensive which was ideal for us.

I would highly recommend a stay at this property. It is in an excellent location in Como on the waterfront. There was excellent communication from the host, Stefano, from start to finish. The room itself was extremely clean and spacious with great amenities, including some drinks and snacks from the host for our arrival which was a nice touch along with lots of information on things to see and restaurants to try. Also, the towels smelled incredibly fresh! Again, would highly recommend a stay here.
