"This must be the best motel I have stayed at. Friendly check in. Easy to have a meal at the adjoining pub with friendly staff. The king-size bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. No dust bunnies under the bed. Our stay was for overnight to make the final drive to catch the ferry so much more relaxing. A late checkout was no problem. It is off the main A1 highway so very quiet. I highly recommend a stay."

"We recently stayed at a property that had some promising features, but unfortunately, the condition of the rooms was not up to par. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the house had not been cleaned. The most unsettling discovery was the presence of spiders throughout the entire house. This made for a very uncomfortable experience, as we had to spend our first night dealing with and eliminating them.
