"I liked the low cost of a one night stay but ended up paying a little extra to stay somewhere else after I checked into my room. The odour of the whole hotel was musky and damp, including the room. I was told no cleaners were going to be in for a few hours, by that time I was ready to leave. Dark room with same moldy smell, smoke detector not installed (left on night stand). "Nice, rustic cabins located in a beautiful, quiet location. The provided canoes and kayaks were a nice touch and we made good use of them. The hot tubs and new barrel sauna were great for those chilly evenings. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they provided games and additional coffee and toilet paper at the front office. The beds were comfortable. It was too bad there was a fire ban when we visited so we weren't able to make use of the wood-burning fireplaces. While...
