"Nice hotel with good facilities for a short lakes break and is very clean and tidy. Parking right outside the hotel is easy and convenient. The hotel has a nice modern bar with relaxing seating area and restaurant with views of the lovely surrounding gardens. Staff very friendly and helpful, check in & out process was very efficient. Only downside is you can hear a few noises at night but to be expected with an old building. Would definitely stay again."

"As a relatively small hotel, it felt a more comfortable environment. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast provided a large rang of choice and food delivery was prompt. Getting an early breakfast had the added bonus of a view of the garden and wild birds feeding. Our room with a balcony was spacious with everything we needed. An easy walk into Bowness."

"Hotel was great for a child-free weekend away to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We had a hot tub room, which we used multiple times and were able to order cocktails from the bar directly to the hot tub! Spa was great too. 10 minute walk to Bowness and the lake (and lots of pubs, bars and restaurants), so the location was perfect."
