"We stayed here for one night on the way home from Cornwall as wanted to visit Jane Austen museum. Parking was easy, check in was quick and our evening meal and breakfast were lovely. Our room was clean and comfortable, although a bit dusty. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Would stay again."

"Convenient location in the middle of town but no parking facility..Public car parking 100 metres away. Bedroom noisy up to 23.00 due to karaoke in bar downstairs. Very friendly and attentive staff and food choice and quality was excellent - best barbecued ribs I have had in a long time. Well kept Real Ale."
