THE KNOT Hiroshima

10/10 Excellent

"Great experience, would stay again"

Hiroshima Washington Hotel

8/10 Good

"The 193 sq ft room is very small for two people, considering western standards. For example, there is very little room to even open up two suitcases. This is not a room to spend much time in, except for sleeping. That being said, location, location, location. It is easy walking distance to most everything in central Hiroshima. Restaurants and bars, including the famous 5-floor okonomiyaki building, are literally just steps away (less than a minute walk). One could even walk to the train station if so inclined (maybe about 25 minutes). The breakfast has varied choices, but it is only so-so by Japanese standards. It is also small, so there could be difficulties getting a table if too many people are trying to eat at the same time. We would stay here again, but probably would spring for a larger room."

RIHGA Royal Hotel Hiroshima

10/10 Excellent

"Staff was very helpful, kind and welcoming. The room was clean, spacious and amazing with an amazing view. There is a bar on the 33 floor with an amazing view of Hiroshima. It is walking distance to shopping and dining but the dining in the hotel is delicious too. The buffet breakfast is on the 36th floor. From first thing in the morning, you get to start your day with both a western and Japanese buffet breakfast that was absolutely delicious. They have a matcha latte, which if you like will start your day off great! We also had dinner at their Chinese restaurant which was also delicious! I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a hotel to stay in In Hiroshima."

ANA Crowne Plaza Hiroshima by IHG

8/10 Good

"Good: The staff was excellent, including the Front Desk and other up front folks. The Housekeeping staff were good as well. The location can't be beat. The lobby is beautiful. The bad: Our first room smelled very bad, like old smoke or mildew?? It was very strong. The airfilter and A/C did nothing to help. The front desk was able to move us to another room which was fine. Again the front desk was helpful. The rooms are also very small and the rooms and the bathrooms were also quite dated and could use a refresh. Overall I was expecting more from a Crowne Plaza property. After moving rooms, the stay was fine and the location made the time enjoyable."
