"Hotel is massively dated and the room was just poor , very old n stunk of damp. The bed was so old springs were sticking up , outside of the room the floors creaked so badly that every time someone walked past even quietly it made a racket. The windows were so filthy outside and inside you could barely see out of them. "

"We were a group of soul music fans on a get together to take in the northern soul weekend at the tower ballroom. We have stayed at the " fairway" a few times before, it is clean, tidy,easy accessable and you always feel welcome, we will be booking again next year. Those needing a "secure car park" we use the park on Charnley road, £15 for 72 hours (November 2021)"

"room not changed/cleaned(bedding/towels in shower floor/litter in waste bin and next to it, questionable if bathroom cleaned) host kept on saying sorry, host/owner blamed staffing issues, gave £20( hush money). The following morning breakfast was as bad, staffing issues again!!, having to wait for hot food to be topped up!, asked for "tea" three times but was given coffee. host kept on saying sorry to everyone, staffing issues. we left the day after booking "in" we could stay here!!. , we left...

"Owner was very accomodating and secured a parking space so we could park all day Also offered a change of room so we could have a single and twin"

"Stayed here sat 3/12/22 with my son last minute as meeting up with friends and so close to Christmas didn’t want to pay a lot very basic, clean but run down paint flaking off walls, needs modernisation, given our room 2 flights of stairs room 4. Only to hear lots of shouting and swearing by occupant from 6, complained to man on reception and I asked to move as didn’t feel comfortable, he was willing to change my room but once no 6 was confronted they added him to leave telling me he was out...
