"Positive: Staff is very friendly, pro-active and helpful, even for Myanmar standards. Breakfast is pretty good with the usual rice, noodles, fried vegetables, soup, rubber bread, eggs, bananas. "The property is dated, the grounds are well kept and the pool is inviting but very very cold. I was the only guest in the hotel. I booked online with no issue but when I checked in the owner insisted on cash only. I had the cash but not what I was expecting. There was not hot water to shower with. The bed is very old and uncomfortable you can feel every spring in the mattress. I would not recommend this hotel. "

We stayed there for 2 nights. It is near to main road where there are many restaurants. From the rooftop restaurant, you can see the balloons being launched just before sunrise. And then have breakfast after. Breakfast is good with a decent spread. Comes with egg station. Though the staff cooking didn't speak much she had pictures and was super accommodating. Got an upgrade to a superior room because we wanted a double bed. Hotel staff were really very friendly; we needed to book bus tickets to Mandalay and they just told us to leave it to them, and they contacted all the bus companies and got us the tickets we needed. Besides that, on our checkout day, the bus's pickup time was 4am, and the staff even asked if we needed a breakfast box for the bus ride because we would miss their buffet breakfast. Great hotel, very nice terrace. The restaurant was good, and there is a wonderful traditional dance/music/puppet show performed by excellent artists. The room was very spacious but didn’t have any windows on the outside : we missed a bit some external natural sunlight. We staied 2 nights so we didn’t mind that much. Everyone there is very nice and helpful. Many thanks Yadanarbon we enjoyed the stay!
