"Family of 5 stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are really comfortable and in good condition. Nice to have the pool at the end of a days trekking. The location is fantastic and feels very

to have all this in such a remote location ant the edge of the jungle. The one downside is the food. It is expensive (5x local restaurants), many items not available on the menu and the quality not discernibly different from the local restaurants / park HQ. On balance, I would still recommend this place."

"Inhouse multi-storey carpark which helps if you have an expensive vehicle. Check-in can be improved as it is quite busy, the room is unavailable until 4 pm, was upgraded to a bigger room which was nice! Very big room with a dining table and a big fridge. Overall a pleasant stay."

"We loved the design and ethos of the hotel. It was in an excellent location, room was comfortable and spacious, and breakfast, though somewhat limited, was very good indeed. Our balcony looked onto an internal 'courtyard' which was in effect a public corridor, so we did not use it."

"Permai is fantastic, we had a treehouse and enjoyed waking up to monkeys and bird song each morning. It is a perfect place to just relax and do nothing or book some tours from. The staff were all lovely and helpful, if driving us themselves to catch a late afternoon boat trip. We extended our stay another night as we loved it so much."
