Modern Ryokan . Stayed in deluxe room , top floor facing river . Modern furnishing, big windows , bright and cosy , big room size , with a beautiful view . Very comfortable bed. Some English speaking staff , excellent service. Nice and cosy lounge , free drinks n coffee. Onsen was very good especially the outdoor ones , compared to many ryokans in the same category. Very good japanese bf in a private room . However the kaiseki dinner was below expectation for tis category of luxury Ryokan ....

An amazing place and experience. We had private indoor and outdoor onsen in the room and used it a few times as it was really convenient. Our hosts for the two nights, Natalie and Mizu, were extremely helpful and friendly. The meals, all in a private room, were excellent and gave us an authentic experience of Japanese breakfast and dinner cuisines.

The whole stay was flawless and staff are really very consciously looking after your needs. The in room bath pool overlooking a small garden was cool. The dining experience was most excellent. Lastly we left a jacket in the wardrobe and realized that at the train station with minutes to board!; as my daughter was on the phone to hotel; the driver had retrieved the jacket and showed up at the station to return the jacket. This will never happen anywhere else - really appreciated the service...

The staff at this Ryokan are excellent in terms of their service, friendliness and professionalism. The excellent service began right after we booked, then continued in-person when we were picked up at Takayama Station on arrival and sadly ended when we were dropped off at the car rental when leaving Takayama. Very nice interior with traditional elements in modern style. They have a nice public bath, there are laundry facilities and the staff are professional, friendly and super helpful. Location is directly next to Omicho Market. Kanazawa Castle and Kenroku-en Garden are within easy walking distance

The hotel is just beside places of attraction such as the Kenroku-en Garden and the Kanazawa Castle Park, which are my favourite places to go whenever I visit Kanazawa.

A short distance from Takayama Station within walking distance. Excellent service include free flow of ice pop and a bowl of simple ramen as supper. Onsen view overlooking northern alps during clear weather. Pte onsen usage could have improved by booking slot to prevent time slot over run served as a reminder. During my stay, encounter a foreign couple being inconsiderate who occupied more than 1 hour.

Located on a hill at Takayama. 15 mins walking distance from Takayama station. Stayed 2 nights. Clean room, big bathroom and toilet, good view, low rates, perfect services. Highly recommended.

Very nice private indoor and private outdoor room Onsen, especially when it is snowing.

Chisun Grand is just 3 mins’ walk from Takayama station. This is my second time staying at the same exact hotel in Nagoya as I liked it for its location. Hotel room is clean, big by Japanese standards ( I had a twin share). The bath room is also larger than average hotel bath room size. Hotel is near Miyagawa morning market ( 5 mins’ walk) along the river. Enjoy the cool breeze against rushing waters in the river, where you can find carps, fishes, ducks and birds .
