"Stayed at the Forest of Arden Hotel and overall had a really good experience. The setting is genuinely stunning, especially in the evening when the deer come out, which was a real highlight for us. It’s clearly very golf-focused, so worth knowing if that’s not your thing, but it didn’t take away from our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although starting to feel a little worn in places. The staff were friendly throughout, and I have to give a special mention for how well they handled my wife’s and son’s coeliac requirements. Breakfast was prepared separately from the buffet, fresh, and with plenty of options, which made a big difference. We felt safe and well looked after during our stay, and I’d definitely come back again."

"The hotel could do with a bit of an uplift. Rooms were quite old fashioned. Room was so warm and the air con wasn’t working and we only had three working plugs in a room for four people. The breakfast was also mediocre. The bacon was grey so I didn’t trust the rest of the meat being left out."
