Conference Aston Hotel - Birmingham City

Conference Aston Hotel - Birmingham City

10/10 Excellent
"It was just what I needed to enjoy birmingham. The hotel is located within campus grounds of Aston University, with proximity to restaurants and takeouts at affordable prices. It has easy access to other parts of birmingham via different means of transportation and we were able to use uber and buses for most of our journey. The hotel staff are polite, friendly and helpful and the hotel looks nearly refurbished and very clean, with iron and ironing board provided. The only downside is that the rooms do not come with a fridge and water isn't provided in the rooms. Although there was a tesco less than 2 minute walk from the hotel. We also got access to the leisure centre and swimming pool, although we didn't end up using these. All in all an excellent hotel"

"Don't be fooled by the cheap price. This place is absolutely tremendous value for such an affordable price. Ideally located, and had everything I needed and more. Did not expect to have air conditioning or a heated towel rail, let alone a fully kitted out kitchen. The bed was very comfy and the room and bathroom were very spacious. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend."

Macdonald Burlington Hotel

Macdonald Burlington Hotel

8/10 Good
"Reception staff were really excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. However we were disappointed with dinner in the restaurant as we were expecting a more ambitious menu, rather than 'pub grub' at higher prices. Breakfast was much better. The bar was closed for redecoration so cannot comment on that."
