"The hotel cleaning staff during our stay were incredibly helpful and friendly. She made us feel very welcome. Everything you need is available, and the room is in good order and comfortable. The shower was very nice. Great location near to station and canals would stay again."

"Stayed one night with a friend. I arrived early and needed to work, friendly staff member let me work in the bar area and then let me check into the room early to work. The WiFi worked well in bar area but in the room it didn’t work and phone signal was poor. The beds were both bigger than usual single beds but rock hard. The aircon was powerful and quiet, but hard to turn off. The shower was ok but the towels we were given were very strange - mine was so old and rough, while my friends was brand new and got fluff everywhere. Breakfast was poor, I appreciate it’s included in the price but the food selection was very cheap. Fruit was tinned. No tomatoes or mushrooms with hot food. Nothing gluten free and limited vegan options, my friend said scrambled egg tasted of cheese not egg. It was also very busy (likely because it’s included in the room rate for all guests). Handy location but there’s multiple hotels on the street so I’d likely try somewhere else if I had to return to the area."

"Stayed one night, went to check in at 3:05pm and was told room wasn’t ready. Got a free drink in the bar while I waited. The room was big. The room had aircon but it was SO loud I had to turn it off to sleep so woke up too warm. The tv kept randomly restarting which was annoying. The bed, although being two singles pushed together, was really comfy. Breakfast was good with vegan options but didn’t notice any gluten free options."

"Lovely hotel, everything you'd expect from a MalMaison. Hotel room was spot on - lovely, quiet and well-sized. I was there during the hottest days of the year so far and the air conditioning worked perfectly. A fan was provided on the second night just because the aircon took a while to start up - I'd strongly recommend getting a second key to keep the electrics running whilst you are out. Gym is typical but big relative to what you'd expect from a hotel gym, with a good weights section, good for accessories or cardio. One warning - parking is not available! The parking specified is in fact an NCP next door - literally share a wall, but around £25 a day."

"We've stayed at this hotel a few times and it's been excellent every time. Rooms are large and airy, very comfortable bed, good shower, clean and well appointed with Nespresso coffee pods and decent amenities. The bar downstairs is much better than your average hotel bar and enjoyable for a drink before bed. The staff are excellent and I particularly like that they only let in hotel guests in the evening so it's not overcrowded at the bar. Only issue this time was 2 of the lifts not working - we had a 10 floor walk on the day we checked out. Some people had been waiting 15 mins for a lift as they weren't able to make it down the stairs."
