"Clean and quaint little motel. It had everything I needed and was a short drive away from Newmarket. There were also food options ~10 mins walk away. On the first night, there was a rowdy group of guests who were hollering, hooting and singing at the top of their lungs. It went on for a few hours between 6.00 PM to 10.00 PM. I had attempted to reach reception via the motel phone and via the number indicated, but neither of the options connected. I did not feel safe enough to walk out of my room to make the complaint. From this incident, I do hope that reception could be more contactable and that the phone numbers are updated. I had a quiet and uneventful stay otherwise, and would definitely return again. 👍👍"

"This was once a really good motel that I used to recommend. NOT ANY MORE. Rats, mice, ants, flies, broken and chipped tiles, paint flaking off, furnishings broken or rotting, the shower flooded (not draining properly) scum came out of the shower drainage and then I slipped and fell, tv didn't work. And for another room. No TVs worked. Spa pool full of stagnant water and mosquitos. Sadly no refund. The bed was comfy though and the air con worked. But I would not recommend this at all anymore and will never go back."

"The Motel has onsite parking though the security gates are not used at night for whatever reason. So public can walk in whenever they wish too The Motel has undergone recent renovations so rooms are like new Positives: -Staff are polite and flexible with your comings and goings and will work around you. -Location is close to Sylvia Park Shopping Centre and a trip to the city can be from 30 min to 15 min. -Shower pressure will blow the spots off your back and are the shower stall is big enough to fit four people in if you wanted too -Rooms are spotless and maintained each day -Towels are great and thick -Photos on website are accurate Negatives: -Single bed was as hard as a rock and my back made sure I knew it! Not advisable if you have back issues -There is no where for you to hang suits, jackets. Clothes will have to remain in your suitcase The bath room takes up 1/4 of the floor plan. Its a very large bathroom -If sleeping in due to a late night it appears staff either do not communicate or, shrugs. Being woken by hammer drills on the outside wall next to you is not fun. -There are no windows on the ground floor rooms. The rooms have an air vent that operates always. So only filtered air -Not really a child friendly environment -Toilet seat is like a public toilet seat. And toilet is quite high. Have a child? Bring a child seat perhaps Other than that, the bed was the worst aspect for us. Way too hard. "

"Clean apt. Great to have in-room laundry facility. Be aware the front desk is not manned in the mornings until 7am. This is a problem for early departures if you need customer service, eg, a luggage cart, receipt, etc. The hotel’s automated phone service promises an emailed receipt by 10am post departure; ours didn’t arrive. Parking is a major problem — guests are directed to street-side parking and charged!"
