"Convenient location in Exeter for access in and out of the city. Friendly staff at check in. Decent buffet breakfast but can get congested at peak times. Parking available but expensive in Exeter. You get a discount voucher which helps a lot. Have stayed here a few times and will continue to do so."

Enjoy the thrill rides with your children at Crealy Great Adventure Park during your trip to Farringdon. Visit the stunning cathedral and lively bars in this walkable area.
The hotel is on a busy street and a bit of a walk (about 20-30 minutes) into town, and about the same walk to the main station (St. David's). But there are several restaurants on the same street, and the hotel is reasonably close to the river with further nice bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is decent and reasonably well maintained. We stayed in a family room that can sleep two adults and two children - a bit cramped but comfortable enough and definitely cost effective. Breakfast was...

We stayed for two nights at the Queens Court hotel in Exeter. The location of the hotel is very convenient - you can walk to the hotel from the Exeter Central railway station. The room was very pleasant and confortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel's neighbourhood has a couple of restaurants and a sanwitch shop. So if you are not in the mood to go far far to have a bite, you just have to walk a few meters.
If I visit Exeter again, I will definitelt stay at the Queens Court...

The Telstar is a lovely old time bed and breakfast using a converted house (i think). It is relatively close to Exeter St David's train station, and very close to Exeter University.
The rate includes breakfast and free parking, which is a big nus. I had the single room with a small shower and toilet. No complaints. The staff are all very helpful.
Be warned that there are no lifts in the hotel and the stairway is quite narrow. So those with huge luggage will have some difficulty getting up to...
