Comfortable and clean. A little tired looking but clean. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. English good. Crisp bed linen but towels old but they were changed every day. No kettle in the room.
Upon arrival there were no rooms available, overbooked. Staff mentioned that there is no internet access, hence, no Fax/ copy machine access. They aren’t aware when rooms are available or not.
Shame on Expedia that allows these type of Hotels available to people. It’s a ripe off. Charged me for the room for all those days. Expedia states that’s their policy? Conchetta, front desk drove us to another Hotel, is that their policy too? Very Disappointed!! I will never ever use Expedia again nor look at this terrible Hotel! After traveling for many hours the least you want to hear is that there is no room for you after you made the reservation.
I really liked the courtyard a little oasis in the middle of the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful

The staff were not very welcoming. It was as if our arrival was a burden for them. There is no parking and you have to really hunt to find a parking place on the street. None of the staffed smiled. Would not stay again.
The staff were super friendly and helpful from helping me get my luggage to my room to recommending me places to visit and eat.
Thank you so much for having me stay with you guys.
I look forward to returning
No AC, fan didnt work, door to outside (on ground floor) didnt work. They would come into my room to open the door with my stuff in it for airflow, without asking. 0/10, ive stayed in youth hostels better than this.
Property is old and uncomfortable, furniture ripped. We were greeted by a senoir lady laying on the lobby sofa who spoke no english.
Bed was a 6" springs mattress on a platform
NO AIR-CONDITIONING. Mid August and 90 degrees inside, my husband was drenched. LCD TV was 12" monitor. We literally forfeited our money and went to a Marriot

We are experienced travelers and we’re expecting an authentic experience when reserving this hotel. We checked in late, arriving after a long flight. The person in the front desk was very unpleasant and didn’t provide more than a one word answer. Sometimes leaving us guessing what he means. There was no language barrier. It was strange altogether.
The morning person wasn’t better.
The only good part was the nice breakfast crew.
The room was very basic. NO AIR CONDITIONER!!
The shower was a tight squeeze with the toilets close to accordion doors that were part of the shower. It was not comfortable to say the least.
I truly believe that if the front desk persons were a bit nicer the entire room/shower/no AC would have been a bit more bearable.

Free breakfast was nice. Beds were comfortable and clean. The rooms had a nice little balcony and Air conditioning. Bathroom shower was very dirty. Front desk staff could have been nicer.
The owner/staff went above and beyond waiting for us till after midnight because of our delayed flight. They were kind and being a 5 minute walk to the train station was perfect!!!

Upon arrival, reception person was not friendly or helpful; but all staff after him was. It is a 20-30 minute walk from tourist sites but we actually like this as we went to non-touristy restaurants for our evening meal.
The host was very nice. They recommend some great restaurants nearby and they even fixed the wifi after I mentioned that the connection in my room was bad.
The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. Had to ask for soap and TP so housekeeping may not be their strength. Breakfast included was adequate, but mostly prepackaged items. Fresh coffee was good. Easy walk to Il Duomo and the downtown area. Overall a good value.
We recently stayed here for our honeymoon for just over a week and absolutely loved it. It was so homey, so comfortable and a bonus was the amazing staff. Everyone was so nice and so helpful. We did arrive a little earlier than our check in time and they offered to keep our luggage so we could start exploring the city until our room was available. It’s easily in walking distance from some of the most beautiful spots in the city and some great shopping, dining and site seeing. We loved the balcony which also was overlooking the back garden area. 10/10 would recommend for a quaint and cozy stay.
The property suited our needs for a few nights. The breakfast included was a nice touch with great espresso. However the staff was not the friendliest.
Pretty good location but the staff (except for the older Italian woman at the front desk) was grumpy and never smiled. The breakfast room was like funeral parlor-no one smiling. Weird.

Free parking in the street, but never found a place. No bread at breakfast first 3 days.
A modest hotel a 15 minute walk to the heart of the city. There is some free parking in the street, if you aren't lucky to get one of these the paid parking is only from 8am to 8pm. So even then it's not so bad.
I usually don’t like to give negative reviews since it seems its a family run hotel,-but place completely disappointed! 1st. morning, there was no hot water,-did get fixed following day. Breakfast another disappointment! Hardly anything to offer,-I think they had 10-15 slices of ham, about 10 wrapped cheese slices.-
Stayed 2 nights as i was over for the football and it was good value for money would recommend

Liked the court yard and lime tree at our balcony. Breakfast was ok. It was really dissapointing that no one was speaking any English or French as advertised so we could not communicate at all. Bathroom was really outdated and not very clean, especially the toilett and the towels have seen better days too. The bed was uncomfortable, you could feel the springs in the mattress. I would not go back and do not recommend this hotel/villa.
Amazing hosts - could not have been nicer, friendlier, or more helpful. Breakfast disappointing but the tables outside more than made up for it. At times, it seemed chaotic, but in a very nice way. I’d go back tomorrow.

Worst customer service at hotel ever.
I don’t like to write a bad review but does greeting a guest with a hello or smile cost anything? It got worse - the man on reception didn’t believe me, my daughter, her passport or Google when i said she was 11 years old (12 and over pay city tax). He insulted and upset us by insisting that she was 12 years and that I should pay the city tax, pretending he didn’t understand english to add to the embarrassing situation . Well he definitely did understand because I asked him what time and where breakfast was and he replied in perfect english (another disappointment - he deliberately didn’t want to tell us when or where breakfast was). If he is a staff member I would not keep him and if he is the manager then good luck to the business because I would warn against staying here and would never stay again. Also they take the key from you when you leave to hang in reception and you can’t leave after 11pm . Controlling the key and times in and out is ridiculous. I didn’t feel comfortable to leave the hotel or to stay. Tips to the reception staff member: smile! You are representing your hotel and city, learn some maths, respect your guests.
Terrible!!!! Wifi did not work. Towels were shredded with strands of fiber hanging off due to age. Then hotel double billed me i already paid in full! Then when checking out man could not get credit card to work...said if i dont pay cash he will call the police!!!! Wasted half an hour with this nonsense. The room itself is in the Basement!!! Grafity on walls in neighborhood! Avoid like the plague.
Although this property has everything it claims it is a little run down and is over crowded with furniture and supplies. If you're not fussy it is close to bus stops.
It looks better on pictures than in reality but ok
Pros: location near train station, relatively quiet and secure, balcony and breakfast
Cons: no AC, bathroom outside, hard to get in (I faced glass sliding door locked and no buzzer), receptionist hardly spoke English, no early breakfast option
Staff not friendly. Hallway had no smoking signs but the rooms were smoke filled. Kitchen server did not serve us meat for bread but when Caucasian people came in, she brought it out.
This is an old hotel that could do with some tlc. It's picture is a little flattering. There is no elevator and I was on the 3rd floor. The room was sparse and none of the three bulbs over the bathroom mirror worked. However it was clean, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.
Window was a fanlight without curtains and full moon kept me awake all night. Bed was tiny - child size. too far out of main area and no restaurants nearby. Dinner the first night was a pastry. We left the next morning having found a more suitable place. This should not be part of the Expedia network. We thought it was a doss house.
The room smelt really bad. Thank God I didn’t have to spend much time in there as I was out most of the day and I would spray the room and shower room before getting to sleep. Has to keep the bath room doo shut all the time because it seemed the smell came from the drains. The staff look like they would rather be elsewhere. One man had a go at me for to close the door. They are not friendly at all. I had a basement room, there is no lift so and you get no offer of help with your bags. Keys are given to you at reception and you are pointed to the direction of your room. Breakfast is so basic. I will not be staying there again.
I had a good experience there. Actually, I had an accident and could not walk for 4 days and everyone in the hotel was really kind and helped me a lot!
