The host was very lovely when we arrived, very welcoming and gave us a complimentary upgrade and bottle of wine as we were celebrating our honeymoon. Our issues with the stay were a mosquito infestation in our room, the walls had squashed bugs on them so it was apparent this was already an issue. We made the host aware and they did not seem concerned, and advised us just to use the wall plug ins to stop the bugs. The other issue was just the overall cleanliness of the room. The floors were dirty and many dust bunny’s present. Otherwise, this unit was massive and quite central!

We had a fabulous stay. Palazzo Branchi is a lovely family run, beautiful hotel in the heart of Florence. The apartments are stylishly decorated, immaculately clean and well appointed. You will have a great stay.

This property was perfect for our stay. A walking distance from the Duomo & cathedral and the city center. The family in charge are always there. Helpful and reply to our what’s app msgs right away. I highly recommend this place.

DO NOT STAY HERE… we arrived and the room was 100 degrees they said it would cool down. 2 hours later no AC and leaking water. We had to leave and check into another hotel. The lady who owns it said they would refund my payment. Now she avoids my calls and won’t answer on WhatsApp. I highly suggest you find a different hotel terrible experience

I'm sorry you think you've had some problems but I think there are lies in your feedback.You arrived in Florence on a very hot day (39C) and we immediately turned on the air conditioning in your apartment. Four hours after your arrival, when you called us, temperature was 26C in the apartment (13C less than outside). You weren't happy anyway and so we offered you a free upgrade giving you a large apartment with two bedrooms. Even in this apartment the air conditioning worked and works perfectly as shown by the guests we had and still have.You didn't accept this either and you wanted to leave.We certainly can't return what you paid (no one told you we would) because you accepted the apartment and used it for a few hours. We have done everything we could to offer you a pleasant stay in Florence.

Great local, clean, spacious and great AC
The location is great a few blocks from the Duomo. It was clean, spacious ( we had the family suite) and the A/C worked great! The only issue is that there is no front desk to assist you with plans or to call a cab if u need that, Uber worked great in Florence, the cabs are tricky and u can’t flag one down. If u are a family in need of multiple rooms i would definitely recommend!

Do not recommend it if you are traveling with a family with small kids, they advertise that you get the whole apartment but after cooking breakfast the owner came to tell us that we weren’t allowed to use the kitchen, nowhere it says that you can’t cook and they have it stocked with pots and pan. Bathrooms are in need of an update.There was a leak from the ceiling in one of our rooms supposedly from the a/c. No elevators.

We loved our apartment and the owners were very helpful during our stay. The owner arranged our taxi service to the train station during our stay and our apartment was cleaned daily along with fresh towels dsily.

Salvatore was fantastic. We arrived very late for our stay and he helped us out. The room was very nice for our quick stay over. Stairs to room could be an issue for some but Salvatore did offer to carry one of our suitcases which was a nice gesture.

Great little hotel in Florence. It is located in a great spot right on the main street where all the action takes place. It was extremly quiet and felt elegant in the room. We loved every part of it but a little lingering smoke smell. Mariella was very nice and gave us some great food recomendations that we loved!

This property was incredible and beautiful. My family could have easily stayed in this apartment forever. It was in a very centralized location and easy to get to the train station or walk around the city. The owner helped answer all of our questions and even set up a taxi for our departure to the train station.

Lovely Florence Stay
Our stay was lovely. Charming decor. Comfortable beds. Nice hot shower. Location is within walking distance to some great spots in Florence. Friendly and easy to communicate with the booking manager. The AC did not work well in one of our apartments but was manageable with the weather.

Great location, somewhat quiet street, comfortable room. Came with a small kitchen but we really didn’t use with so many places to eat nearby. The espresso machine came in handy. We stayed for more than a week to see the sites and explore the city. Everything is walking distance 5-25 minutes to most all major sites. Would definitely stay again.

The Plazzo, overall the property is indeed higher end style. However upon arrivel neither air-conditioning nor wifi were working properly. Both were fixed within 24 hours, but when you stay for 3 days and pay the appropriate high end fee, its stil 1 out 3 days without air-conditioning and wifi, whereas mobile reception in the property location is weak. The location is very good for central Firenze.

Fantastic location in a more residential neighborhood - away from the crowds but still walkable to restaurants, the sites, even the train station. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming. The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. We will absolutely stay here again.
