Great locations in downtown. Walkable distance from the Praça Vl and central market , artisans market and small stores. Our room was big, we could fit all our belongings and had room to walk around. Good breakfast, many varieties of fruit, cakes,yogurt Lobby was very classic , with beautiful sculpture, chandeliers and framed antique mirrors. I would not recommend walking alone at night in downtown area. During the day is fine with lots of small shops and coffee shops. We loved Florianópolis

I'd Stay Here Again

The staff is really excellent. Everyone at the front desk speaks English very well, and they are helpful and knowledgeable. The valet car service was easy to use and moderately priced. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, but nothing too special. I enjoyed the included breakfast buffet. Hot and cold foods, and attentively maintained over the breakfast period.

The room was far from expected from the photos and the 4 star rating. The furniture was older than expected. The air condition was not working. The staff were though very helpful.

It was a very nice stay, all places are very clean and staff kindness was quite noticeable. The building is somewhat old, but it has a kind location. Our room was very confortable, cozy, bathroom very clean and confortable. Breakfast was superb! The only negative aspect I would like to report, as the management can take appropriate actions, is the Room Service. Despite deliver was very fast and kind, the food quality fell quite short of our expectations. The Mignon Beirute was made with a half syrian bread and, instead of a real mignon file stake, it came with scattered fragments of stake. The Cesar Salad was another big failure. A single kind of letuce leaves came, not with chicken slices, but with fragments of meat, supposedly of chicken, and mayonese sauce instead of Cesar Sauce accompanied with sparse fragments of parmesan cheese. These is a detail, "Room Service", the management should pay a close attention. It will be rewarding for the Faial Hotel image and prestige!

Hotel antigo mas em bom estado. Quarto super espaçoso mas senti falta de mais iluminaçãos. O hotel foi flexivel no check in, disponibilizando o quarto antes do horário, o que foi ótimo. Ótimo café da manhã, inclusive com opções sem gluten. No entanto, o salão de café da manhã é pequeno, o que por vezes causava fila de espera. A alternativa era sentar-se em um salão anexo.

Maravilhoso

A hospedagem no hotel foi muito confortável e tem um excelente atendimento, tudo bem limpinho e cheiroso. O cafe da manhã tem muita abundância, comida bem saborosa e de excelente qualidade. O legal também que fica bem próximo ao Centro (mercado principal da cidade) então tem uma ótima localização. Com certeza recomendo. Superou as nossas expectativas.
