"The hotel was convenient, cheery, clean, and well-kept. View from the room lovely, overlooking the city and the river in the distance. Fine park to the north for walking and birding. No struggle with the aircon. Staff super hospitable, friendly, accessible, and helpful with directions and recommendations. Ask for Carlos. Dining room fine. Good restaurants nearby too. We ate at both. "

"This hotel was incredibly beautiful from the moment we walked in to the courtyard. It is huge and can feel a bit of a maze to walk around until you get your bearings. We were situated in Block D - there was a mini exhibition for us to look at on our way to our room. We stayed in a Locke Room which came with a lovely little patio. Furnishings in the room were beautiful and the colours in the bathroom were so nice too. Beds were super comfy and made for a great nights sleep. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water or 2 in the room for arrival especially when arriving late at night and not being able to get to a shop. You can pay for water at reception but it was a bit inconvenient to head back over for that. However, I would happily stay here again and will recommend it to friends because of it's location. We just wish we could have stayed longer as didn't get to use the pool or restaurants which looked amazing!"

Super location; 5-30 minute walking distance to local historic centers and good/excellent street restaurants everywhere. “Time Out Market” 35 min walk; Food Heaven. All the daily tour will pick you up at the front lobby. Easy bus ride from exit doors to hotel. Stop by the local supermarket; everything is fresh, 6 pack water around 1.3 Euros and sweet, crispy apples, 8 for 1.5 Euros."

"Excellent stay - big room, lovely breakfast and superb value. Plus opposite the metro and close to a bus stop connecting you with Belem/Factory LX. Sharing a bathroom was fine (2 shower rooms and a 3rd toilet per floor with own living room). Recommended. "
