There are many great things about this place (quiet rooms, location, breakfast), but what stood out the most to me was how welcoming and accommodating were the staff. I had a great experince at Chatlet D Ávila Guest House. It’s location was perfect, with supermarkets, Normal shop and a Starbucks all just a few minutes Walk away. And it was very easy to find from the airport, the Metro gets you almost Right to the door.

The hotel is located on a great area, with easy access to transportation. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is kept constantly clean and the included breakfast is a plus. The two main downside for me were the fact that the bathroom and shower are outside the room on the hallway for all rooms on the floor to share and that the wifi was virtually nonexistent. It kept disconnecting and the signal was very poor. Other than that I had no other issues.

This is quite possibly one of the most positive guest house experiences I have ever had. The location was brilliant, right next to the Saldanha metro station. The staff were helpful and kind. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the daily included breakfast was generous and delicious. The next time I’m in Lisbon, I know exactly where to stay.
