The Evergreen
8/10 Good
"Overall, the room was clean; however, the shower couldโve been cleaner. The windows needed to be dusted a little better too. AC has a control panel & works great. Staff was very helpful when we got to our room and discovered that the toilet was sluggish. The manager came right over with a specialized plunger & fixed it. Our stay was last-minute, but I wish we couldโve stayed longer!"

"The rooms are great - it's great to have a kitchen in every suite, especially with a grocery store within a five minute walking distance. The rooms were very clean, quiet, and the amenities were top notch. The service was more hit or miss however. While Tom, who did my check-in, was AMAZING (I asked him if there was public transit nearby and, while I was filling out a form, he looked up options for me - this wasn't expected but greatly appreciated), other employees gave me conflicting information and/or didn't seem to be mentally checked-in to their jobs. I requested a late 2pm checkout and was told by one employee that it was confirmed - later on however, another employee called me and said it was no longer an option but that they could accomodate a 1pm, which was fine. At noon, my keycard had stopped working, and the employee at the desk (who was wearing airpods?!) didn't recharge the card for the right room. The back and forth left me even tighter for time than I had anticipated."
Quality Inn Petaluma - Sonoma

"We have been traveling for 7 days staying at similar priced (or more $) places. This Quality Inn has been the best place we have stayed by far. It took 2 minutes to check in. The parking was great, room super clean and huge bathroom. Bed comfortable, breakfast was actually really good. Pool was clean and no sludge on tiles. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was also quiet and no scuzziness around."

"Clean room, good location, good parking, loud air conditioner - I had to turn it off to sleep. Fortunately, the temperature in Mill Valley was cool enough at night that not having A/C was not a problem."
