"The hotel is nice and big. It was so big that i got lost a few times. Some staff member were friendlier than others but the resort overall was better than others I have gone to. When we arrived, we got a free upgrade to a pool view room which was really sweet. The only complaint I have is that you’ve to reserve every dinner restaurant expects the buffets, and even with the reserved restaurant the food were mid (also the Mexican restaurant smelled like sewage, hopefully they get that fixed quickly.) Another thing, be careful of the sun chairs. I accidentally jammed my finger when I was trying to adjust it and got a nasty cut because of it. Overall, would I recommend this restaurant? Yes, it was a 7/10"

"This property was great for my finance and myself. Upon arrival we got a private check in and we met Felipe who was there to help us throughout our week stay. Felipe was very prompt in responding and didn’t hesitate to help us with any of our needs and even made sure that the hotel provided us with cake and champagne to celebrate our engagement. The front desk staff were very welcoming and were always smiling when we would come up to ask any question. When we got to our room we also got a bottle of wine as a thank you for booking through Expedia, and again had the ability to use Felipe who managed all our reservations for dinner and even got us to repeat some spots! The room is slightly dated but was very clean and comfortable and served its purpose for us! Even with only the one pool it is HUGE and there was plenty of spots to relax. I am an early bird so I enjoyed getting up early and going to the pool to read and relax but you do NOT have to wake up at the crack of dawn to get chairs. However, if you don’t wake up early, you may not have chairs RIGHT by the pool but there is enough room. The food was great, we never were hungry and always found something to eat at the buffet. Through the night there are different drink stations on the resort that allowed for trials of different cocktails which was very unique."

"I had a pleasant experience at Zel Punta Cana ! The staff were extremely helpful and attentive to all of our needs. I would say cleanliness could have been better in our room. The staff was more than happy to clean when requested. The overall cleanliness of the property was amazing ! Thank you especially to Raphy who assisted with making my stay enjoyable and comfortable. The bartenders were very kind. Please make sure you go to the Beachfront, Emmanuel took care of us well!"

"When I decided to reserve this hotel I thought it was "UNIQUE", that means 100 % with that category, but the hotel had the same structure than years before, so I think I was deceived and paid a price for which I did not fully enjoy the benefits of this category"

"The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are impeccably maintained, The environment is pleasant and vast majority of staff very helpful and pleasant.Unfortunately our stay was marred by the unprofessional handling of a booking error and subsequent interactions regarding "The Level" access. Initially, we were granted Level access through our Expedia Rewards membership. However, when we attempted to book the Level restaurants, we were given conflicting information. After being told by the concierge that we were limited to a single visit, we left a 3-star review reflecting this restriction and ambiguity around the Level Service. Following the review, the concierge contacted us via text to admit a mistake had been made and offered restaurant access for the duration of our stay. Unfortunately, the self-service booking system still did not function for us, and the repeated follow-up calls and texts from the concierge became intrusive rather than helpful. Because we could not book independently and wished to avoid further awkward confrontations, we stopped using the service entirely. Another unprofessional aspect of our stay occurred during checkout. We were explicitly asked to change our 3-star review to a 5-star rating, and we were subsequently pressured by two additional staff members to do the same while waiting to depart. This, combined with an aggressive approach from the excursion sales staff, felt pushy and uncalled for. A good stay soured by a few staff members."
