"Everything about this hotel was fantastic. Breakfast on the enclosed terrace with a lake view was excellent. The front staff were ever so helpful in booking me an e-bike. If you’d like to stay somewhere with old world charm, this is it. Also if you’re looking for something different to eat, try their Latin themed restaurant, Kasa, right next door. Though not associated with the hotel, the Schloss Cafe Aran, right across the street will set you up with a selection of delicious cakes and other...

Top German Alps Hotel Reviews

Hotel am Badersee

Grainau

10/10 Excellent

Great hotel nestled in the lap of nature in Grainau. It’s about 6 km from Garmisch but totally worth it! It’s located next to a beautiful lake with a nice hiking path. The rooms are old school but well appointed with amenities. The sauna was very nice after a day of skiing. Food was good and we enjoyed our breakfast. There was free parking available outside but we took the paid basement parking to keep our car warm and easily accessible via the elevators. There were many sweet little gestures...

Hotel Bayern Vital

Bad Reichenhall

10/10 Excellent

We were greeted at the reception by a friendly lady and even though we were early, we got to check in. There was a welcoming plate of cookies at the reception which proved to be a delight for my daughter. We got a family accommodation and it was two separate rooms with separate bathrooms. Pleasantly surprised by that. Very clean rooms. The walking distance to places was close enough - to the train station, to the river and to the city centre.

Pai Hua Jane

A historic building with a café, a museum sign, and a signboard for a restaurant.

Atlas Grand Hotel

Garmisch-Partenkirchen

10/10 Excellent

Service from the night reception was excellent. The room was a bit warm and he found a standing fan for us. He also recommended nearby restaurants and was generally very helpful. The room was a bit dated but that was to be expected for an old hotel. The bathroom looked newly renovated and the water was hot. The hotel breakfast was excellent with a fresh orange juice machine, omelette station chef was fabulous with his presentation and there was fresh honeycomb.

Boutique Hotel im Auracher Löchl

Kufstein

10/10 Excellent

Last year same time (Oktoberfest) we tried to book this hotel, was fully booked. We come again this year and book 2 months ahead… we got it. The hotel located below the castle and next to Inn’s review. All their hotel room are named after cities of the world. Love the bed. Hotel room clean. Do take note that rooms that facing the street/city is a bit noisy toward midnight. The windows are sound proof, but if you want the outside cold air, you need to open the window to enjoy the natural air...
