"Stayed here in a standard double room ,room was a good size beautifully furnished in a country inn style , excellent shower and comfortable bed, nice soft linen. Only issue pillows were very hard. Tea , coffee and biccies of good quality, even a teapot! Bar area was warm and comfortable didn't have and evening meal but breakfast options were substantial and reasonably priced. Staff were all extremely pleasant and polite creating a welcoming atmosphere. Free and plentiful car parking for hotel guests at the back. Only 2 mins walk to the restaurants, bars &shops so great for our evening out. 5min to station if needed. Will definitely stay here again when next in Gerrards X"
