The rooms and hotel are very clean new and have a comfortable feel on arrival and during our stay the gentleman on reception was so kind friendly and more than happy to help with any enquiries and great coffee.

We had the family suite which was fine. But it would have been a lot better if we had been given notice about the room been freshly painted. The smell was quite overwhelming & created a lot of discomfort. Otherwise the place was okay !

It was a lovely stay at the motel montago mermaid beach. Checked in at 1pm. Our room wasn’t ready however the board games and comfortable outdoor furniture kept us entertained while we waited. Loved the open floor plan very minimalistic and spacious. We were able to enjoy a social drink and card game on the floor before our dinner reservations. Didn’t turn the TV on due to inconvenient wall placement. Water pressure and temperature could not be beaten. Great ventilation through the generous gap in the bethroom door allowing airflow to the main family room. Especially enjoyed the scent of the shower gel/ bethroom products. Comfortable beds although the use of one pillow in particular resulted in a stiff neck. One extra towel would have been great but we utilised the resources available. Our gay friend was straighter than the ironing board provided and would have appreciated some handles on the kitchen cupboards. The hand and footprint marks on the wall added a decent amount of charm to the room. The lock on the Bethroom door could of done with existing. I would also suggest the purchase of a new mattress protector for the trundler bed. All in all it was a wonderful stay in a prime location that resulted in character building and great memories.
