Great location served by 2 metro stops - Tianhe Sports Centre & Shipaiqiao. Walking distance to Tianhe and other malls nearby . Gangding , the electronics supermart is 01 metro stop away. Food choices is great nearby. Room is clean and air cond OK.

Timmy Hotel
Location is good with 2 metro stations. Food is plentiful within walking distance. Tianhe is only 1 station away. Room is spacious and clean. It will be great if tea is provided. Shower temperature / pressure is inconsistency

Good location
Located just beside Taikoo mall in Tianhe. Lot of amenities, food located around. You can either take a train or airport bus that stop at fortune centre and walk down the main road to reach Timmy. The room was value for money but the wifi signal is kinda unstable at times. But I guess that is the same everywhere for China from my travels in different cities in China.

Overall, the stay was good. However, the building consists of offices and tenants, so the security wise is not tight as anyone can access to the hotel rooms.

We booked Superior twin room for five nights with complete payment in advance but when we checked in, we were given standard room saying that superior room is not available and it will be given on the next day. Next day also we were not given the booked room and were left with no other choice but to stay in standard room. Third day morning we checked out of the hotel as it was our worst experience ever. This hotel is a bunch of cheaters.

PROS - surrounding with mall - have 1 halal restaurant near lobby - near convenience store CONS - water heater suddenly too hot - laundry not user friendly. need to use room card. so u need to wait till it finish. - taxi and Didi sometime confuse where to drop off.

Will return!
I like Timmy hotel, I have stayed there several times. The location is very good and the subway is just around the corner. Basically the lobby is not very nice but the checkin was very fast, The hotel is old, the room I got was remodeled and spacious. Breakfast is OK. It has a good rate during Canton Fair when all hotels in Guangzhou are so expensive. Internet however is very unstable.

Nice hotel in a prime location
Travel with ease using metro which is next to the hotel door. Never been this convenient. Plus, when the price is concerned, it's supurb for the amount you pay.

The hotel is close to metro stations and it is very easy to locate. We had no trouble checking in or out and the staff was very friendly. Inside the room, there are a few tiny details (e.g. wood panels balancing the mini fridge) that are not so nice, but overall the room was in a nice condition. We encountered no trouble during the entire stay. The hotel (room, corridor and lobby) was clean and tidy. It was comfortable and pleasant staying there.

Hotel reception does not face the roadway and is difficult to see even from a taxi. If the driver does not know the area well, you may struggle to see it. Having said that, it is a really good location.

Value for money
Good location (has MRT exit right under the building, some restaurants, convenience store) Room needs a fresh coat of paint (some kid must have gotten hold of a permanent marker) Breakfast was a bonus for the room price (wished they changes a few dishes though coz we had 5 straight days of same food) Staff were very helpful Hotel location a bit hard to find but once you find it, it is easy to relocate (maybe a detailed instruction would help for 1st time guests) Overall, I would book again if I go back to Guangzhou.

strategically located for metro traveler
Timmy hotel is located at a very strategic location. The metro Shibanqiao D entrance is located at the same building of the hotel. Those whose mode of travel is using metro may find it very convenience. Besides, there are many shopping malls within walking area, the nearest would be opposite it, Onelink. One thing to take note, the hotel reception is a bit hard to find, it is at the corner of LongDe隆德 building, one of the land marks beside it is a family mart. I stayed in a queen boutique room for 4 nights, my room's is clean, with street view, strong water flow, ,mattress is rather comfortable, washing machines and dryers at 8 floor for free usage, same breakfast everyday, and needing to take 2 rounds of lift before reaching the hotel room, and no table for my language bag. Considering it is at the hot spot of GuangZhou at a reasonable price, these hotel is strategically located for metro traveler.

Great Location and Comfortable Rooms
We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is located at the Shipaiqiao metro stop, and it is very easy to find. When you exit the metro just walk around the building. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast is great. The staff isn't the friendliest, but they always accommodate. The one negative about this place is the shower. Some rooms have fantastic showers, others do not. You never know which one you'll get - great or terrible. This time, we were unlucky (scalding one second, ice cold the next, no regulation at all), but other times, we've had no trouble. We love this hotel though, and will definitely stay here again when we go to Guangzhou.

Clean room, Great location
I had a good experience staying at this hotel during Canton Fair. Location is excellent, right in the middle of city, cross from a mall with variety of restaurants. staff is friendly, not everyone speaks English except one person. Breakfast is OK.

Conveniently located hotel, unhelpful staff
Hotel is conveniently located in a busy shopping district and sits right above a metro train line. Rooms were clean and more than sufficient. Breakfast was provided and bus to the Canton Fair. The noise of the busy street didn't bother us too much. The staff albeit friendly and wanting to help, did not communicate overly well in English and even with google translate, it was really hard to get directions, restaurant/ bar hints and tips. For example there was a great German pub only 100mtrs away that we had to google map to know it was there and find it. Our room was a pain to get to as it was in another building and two sets of lifts. Breakfast was limited but the selection increased during the canton fair. Best tip, don't use the metro line 3 orange line but instead use the yellow line metro line 1. Less change over that way and it's only a 100mt more walk to the station. Also, if you plan to go to Shenzhen, take the high speed train from Guangzhou East Rail Station, stops all stations but gets you to Shenzhen faster with taking less metro trains to Guangzhou south.

Excellent Location - Great Service
This is an excellent hotel. Great location right in the middle of Guangzhou with a subway line 1min away and nice shopping area across the street. The Staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. The rooms are clean and tWifi is very good.

Great location hotel
Was there for exhibition, so was not too concern about the room but more on the location. next to the train station so very easy to find. although the hotel lobby is at the side of the building. Room is not very big so do not expect too much. But overall reasonable price for the location.

Great location and price but poorly maintained
Check in was a little slow. Hotel is not well maintained. Requested a non-smoking room but wasn't guaranteed when booking on hotel.com and I got a room that smelled like smoke but can't blame it on anyone since it wasn't guaranteed. There's absolutely zero soundproof. I could hear people talking or listening to music the next door. I could hear people upstairs doing bed exercises although it lasted very short. I could hear people closing doors on the same floor or walking by. Hardly slept throughout the night due to the nose. Great location and price.

First Night was not good as the room was facing the main road and during night was very noisy due to traffic and the room window was not properly insulated, for next two nights i got the room changed to the one without windows and everything was back to normal.

Nice little hotel
This is a nice little hotel with a convenient location. It is close to shopping malls and many eating places as well as major transportation such as subway, bus, etc. The best part is that you can get to the airport and high speed rail train stations easily.

I really enjoy staying there... The staffs were friendly, English spoken and helpful. We arrived hotel at 4am, the rooms were fully booked.The staff told us to relax at lobby,at 8am he gave us breakfast coupon despite our check-in time is at 12pm. He even managed to get us early check-in at 10am.Defenetly stay in Timmy hotel during my next trip and will recommend to others too.

Close to the Mall
If your on the top floors it's a massive inconvenience to travel through 3 lifts to an from my room. We had our own wifi which was pointless as it was super slow, couldn't even load a email or a search in Google, being from overseas am not speaking any Chinese we wanted wifi. don't mind watching TV with subtitles but there was no channels with English subtitles. The shower in the room I had was awesome.

No hospitality From the staff
This hotel has No lobby. So usually meeting With people is done in the Cafe. ON my last Visit the Cafe was closed. But wE had the meeting in the Cafe AS There was No Other place. It started tO Get dark by 5.30 But the manager refused to oN the light. They Work in the hotel industry But They do Not have hospitality at all
