I travel all over the world and this hotel has been nothing short of amazing. Everyone is extremely helpful, delightful to deal with, and will go out of their way to help you. The grounds are great, food was great, very quiet atmosphere. It was such a relaxing stay. I can not recommend this hotel more. A huge thank you to everyone that works there for making our stay there amazing.

Awful!
I have been to Thailand over 20 times now and this was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Nothing about this hotel was 5 star except the prices they charged for food, drinks and the spa. I thought I'd have a relaxing weekend outside of Chiang Mai but this hotel did not provide what I desired AT ALL. Customer service was APPALLING, especially for Thailand, where service is so good. Every material from the decorative pillows in the bedroom to the blow dryers to the treadmills in the gym was CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP. I use hotels.com all of the time and usually find them quite accurate but this property was just terrible! I would never recommend it to anyone. AVOID.

Marvelous place with an amazing pool & views of the golf course. Only negative was there was not a big buffet breakfast. Still a good breakfast & we received a menu w/many options. I would stay here again & next time I’m bringing my golf clubs!

Although the location is a bit far from the main town, they have the shuttle bus which is free to go to and back from the main town. Also, it’s quiet so you can be relax.

Expensive drink.....but good hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at North Hill and found the staff pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and was regularly replemished and of good quality. A few things could be improved. A later transfer time back to the hotel from Chiang Mai (10pm too early). The price of the drink outside happy hour which is early in the evening is much too expensive given the remote location of the hotel. We went to the New Year reception on the roof (costing THB2019 per person) to find that there was only ourselves and another couple from Melbourne!!! Given that it was canapes and drink only this was way too expensive...... hence the poor take up! The discount to guests for golf should be greater given the remote position of the hotel. Overall I would recommend this hotel but you need to reduce your bar prices to encourage people to stay so far outside Chiang Mai.

Don’t book if your going on vacation
The hotel is is all around a nice resort but not for someone that’s going on vacation. This hotel is more of a business trip hotel. First you walk into a restaurant not a lobby. They have no concierge’s desk to a well touristic area. They are extremely far from everything which is terrible when no tour will go that far out. They have a shuttle service to the town which is great, but the times are sooooo off. The staff do not understand you at all and say yes as if they do. Which is problem because your not getting anything done correctly. The food was very good which was a huge plus.

New and very nice staff
When we arrived, we were welcomed wonderfully in the reception desk. The place is new and very clean, food was terrific. They helped us schedule our tour and Aeed was a very nice driver. However, when we went to our room, our AC was not working. It took about 30 minutes for them to fix it and finally gave up and gave us another room. Overall, the stay was nice

Excellent service. New and clean.
The service is perfect. The staff are polite and very welcoming. The facilities are very new and clean. The pool is amazing. Breakfast is delicious with a wide range of food. The environment is fabulous. It’s quite away from the city so it’s quiet with fresh air. Shuttles are provided so it’s ok that it’s not located in the city. Even the shuttle bus lounge in the city is comfy with great service. Would definitely go again!

Had a pleasant trip in Chiangmai

Great Getaway Place..
First time to Chiang Mai and couldn't tell from the map how far this place is from the downtown area of the city. It's very quiet on a golf course and isolated but in a good way. Everything looks brand new and it's really a comfortable place to spend the day. If I actually played golf, I would book weekends here and just relax. Pool is great, workout gym, and bars are nice. Ordered a steak dinner after a day out in the city and it was a terrific cut and cooked to perfection. The room itself is modern and has a balcony. The bathroom is new and the shower has 4 jets on it to spray you all over. As to get around, the free shuttle takes you into the city near the tourist area and when you're ready to leave, you walk to the hotel lounge, which is a small coffee shop bathrooms and TV's, and they will call the shuttle for pickup to bring you back, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was great as well. Not so much of a hot buffet because there wasn't too many guest when we stayed so they will make anything on the menu and it's included. Hope this place stays this classy in the future, would love to stay here again.

Good hotel with excellent service.
The hotel offers quite a lot of activities. Golf, yoga, swimming, spa, cooking class, etc. on top of these, the restaurants are good and provide value for money. Most importantly, their service attitude is very good, especially Ms Polly, she’s really kind and go all the way to help us find what we want. At that price, I guess it’s very reasonable for a relaxing holiday in Chiang Mai. Also love their welcome drink!

Location not ideal, definitely for a laid back tri
I came with a friend to experience Chiang Mai. We are both young adults, and definitely wanted a more culture driven, fast-paced trip. This resort is beautiful, but definitely more of a honeymoon vibe. The drive to the heart of Chiang Mai varied from 25 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. The shuttle stopped running at 10 PM. Food stopped being served at 10 PM, which as a hungry young adult coming home from a bar at 11:30 (still pretty early in my opinion) was not the best. It also made me wonder what would happen if someone had a flight and required check-in after 10 PM since there was not a service available. The gym was also very small, and just had a few cardio machines.

Great Service
North Hill City was truly a hidden gem of Chiang Mai. From the beauty of the resort, to the food, to the onsite amenities it truly was an amazing place to stay. The best part about it was that it was at a better price than most of the other hotels in the area. North Hill City is located approximately 25 minutes from down town in the serene foothills of the mountains to the south of the city. They have a free transport downtown multiple times per day as well as free transport back. The staff is wonderful and go out of their way to do anything they can for you. They always greet you with a smile and do anything they can to make your stay better from the second you check in. Upon check in they greet you with a delicious welcome drink and they check you into your room while you wait in the lobby. They also provide you with a free tablet to use during your stay that has all of the info about the hotel located conveniently on it. The rooms are very clean and very spacious and all first floor rooms have balconies. The pool area is beautifully set up and is a great place to relax and have a couple drinks. All of their food is delicious and their free breakfast buffet is actually served to order rather than as a buffet when there aren't a lot of customers. Overall this hotel was everything we could have hoped for and more. We absolutely recommend it to anyone staying in the Chiang Mai area.

Amazing experience!
From our amazing pickup driver to all the staff at the resort, our stay was spectacular! This place is a gem and everyone was incredibly accommodating and nice. Our stay was during the Loy Krathong festival and they gave us transfers in and out of town. The room and view was spectacular! Will definitely be back on our next trip to Thailand!

Perfection
Was booking at the last minute for a business trip in Chaing Mai and the city was full. I took a chance on North Hills which had no reviews at the time, and it was the best thing possible. I travel extensively, and really cannot say anything other than that this hotel was close to perfection - from the warm welcome to the comfortable room, beautiful facilities, and warm service, it was also great value. I stayed a few weeks after opening and there were a few small details to iron out with the service efficiency, but warm smiles can make up for a little inefficiency. Would return tomorrow!

Best hotel experience. Pristine and great service!
North Hill City went so far above our expectations! It was by far the best hotel we have stayed at. The staff were so kind and attentive. It was clear that our happiness and comfort was their top priority. The resort was immaculate! Clean, well decorated, fresh smell, and looked new. Check-in: from our airport transfer to the time we were shown to our room, check-in was a great experience. Fast and friendly. We were given welcome drinks on arrival, which was also a nice touch. Rooms: perfection. The view was stunning! A large floor to ceiling window gave us a panoramic view of the grounds from our third floor room. The golf course, the garden, reflection pools lined sitting areas, and infinity pool made a spectacular viewing experience. The bathroom was my favorite! The shower had multiple heads that provided a full body pamper every time we showered. The room was spacious, complete with complimentary snacks, water, coffee, tea, fruit, bathrobes, and sandals. The bed was nice, but quite a bit more firm than I like. There was also a couple areas to sit and relax. Top notch room. Spa: I visited the spa twice. The first time for a couple's massage, and the second time for a Thai pressure point massage. Both were very well done. The spa was clean, a relaxing atmosphere, and very kind staff. Restaurant: The North Hill Mix had excellent food, creative drinks, and a beautiful view. Golf: My husband enjoyed his golf game, which came with a caddy - he loved it!

Lovely hotel for a luxury break
This is a new hotel where no expense has been spared on facilities. Whilst golf for my husband was the main reason for going there, I had a lovely time with a beautiful swimming pool, delightful spa and the opportunity to take a shuttle bus to the city whenever I wanted. It made for a very restful and relaxing weekend. We stayed at a very quiet time and I would enjoy seeing the place in full swing on another occasion.

Nice and quiet getaway place.
Wonderful experience!!! The staff and hotel atmosphere makes it feel like home. Very friendly and hospitable staff, from the driver that picked us up from the airport, front desks, bell service, and to the restaurant staff, they are all outstanding. It was hard to leave after a warm welcome and great service during our entire stay, all the staff lined up to say their goodbyes and thanks.
