"The Meritel is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Hanoi old town. On “silk street” it is within walking distance of not only all the tailors but most of the other sights to see in the city. The famous train street is a block away and there are several fantastic restaurants close by. The staff are kind and attentive - Quân especially went out of his way to find us everything from tailors, restaurant recommendations and even a hair dresser for a last minute haircut. Don’t skip the hotel restaurant for dinner either - the cashew chicken and the pork belly were to die for!"

"We only stayed one night but were welcomed very nicely. The staff was really helpful and we had a wonderful breakfast. They held on to our luggage while we visited Hanoi and brought us drinks and fruit when came back to cool off in the lounge waiting for our car to the airport. Definitely recommend really walkable area to see sights too."

"We had a wonderful stay at grand du lac hotel, the service was excellent from the check in , breakfast menu (reminded by Ben through a late morning call) and until check out One of the staff (Camellia) also helped my wife gets her dried peach sweets from local store, they really went above and beyond to make us happy We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we come to Hanoi in the future"
