The hotel was within walking distance to many attractions. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, efficient and professional. The hotel staff definitely made my stay memorable.

amazing hotel and staff - my second trip here and it won't be my last. Always made to feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble for the staff clean and well decorated - afternoon tea is always a welcome addition and so nice after a hot afternoon walking around HCM city,

My recent stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the location was superb, offering easy access to [city landmarks], the overall experience left something to be desired. Firstly, the staff members were generally average, with the exception of Robert at the front desk. His professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to assist stood out in contrast to the rest of the team. However, one major disappointment was the breakfast options. The selection was poor and very limited, lacking variety and freshness. For a hotel aiming to provide a satisfying start to the day, this was a significant letdown. Regrettably, based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again in the future.

The staff is wonderful. We especially found Robert and Tammy to be superstars! Friendly, helpful and efficient. The beds are firm and we loved it. The area around this hotel is very walkable and it is safe. What we didn’t like: The room we stayed in for one night was very noisy (street front) and it had a weird smell (room 202). We asked for another room and was moved to another room.

I would prefer if everything was priced in VND. Pricing in US dollars means I’m paying exchange twice when I pay in CAD on a credit card. Everything was very nice. Breakfast, afternoon tea , etc. Weirdly, toilet paper holder in our room was virtually inaccessible if you were on the toilet. Quite minor but irritating

Au Lac Charner is in a great location with wonderful views. Breakfast was great and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool is a bit small but good enough to cool down after a busy day. Our only complaint would be that there are no handrails to get into the pool and also no hand rails at the entrance to the hotel. Otherwise - perfect!

The staff are grate the rooms are good, quiet and convinient.To the left the cash. Exchange is grate rate and only a few steps a way from everthing you need. They didn't give me the room I had reserved and paid for, they told me it was full. After arguing for a while, they gave me another cheaper room and refunded me the difference. Very bad experience.

Lovely boutique hotel
Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and very clean. We used the laundry twice and clothes came back the same day. Nice options for breakfast, too. We would stay here again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. We wanted to contact the tour operator but our call didn’t get through, and got help from the hotel staff and managed to get information we needed. Breakfast was nice with good variety. Afternoon tea was popular and we felt busy, still nice to have. Good location, convenient for tourists but also fun to see locals doing things around.

Nice hotel with large room and nice pool. Breakfast was included. The area was great to walk, close to everything, dining , shops. The rooftop pool is nice however they need to invest in a ramp for the stairs as it can be slippery, my husband slipped on the stairs getting out of the pool. There are a few chairs. The front staff speak English. The breakfast is quite good with lots of choices.

We stayed here twice! The breakfast was amazing. And the staff were very kind. The pool and spa amenities were just ok. The location was convenient although we did struggle with noise on two evenings. But overall we were very happy with our stay.

Stayed for just 1 night. Was immediately greeted by staff outside the hotel who carried my luggage up the stairs. The checking in process was quick and easy and I got an upgrade due to my hotel agency. My roon was modern, comfortable and fairy spacious. All staff we encountered were smart, polite and helpful. We had complimentary afternoon tea and cakes. The hotel is in a great location in District 1, modern but stylish. The swimming pool area on the 10th floor is a bit cramped but very nice.

This is the hotel for you if you are looking for a fantastic Boutique hotel in a great location in Saigon. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are fantastic. The hotel facilities are fantastic and you can relax at the roof top pool area enjoying the vistas. We ended up booking extra nights at the hotel as we enjoyed it so much. Cant recommend the hotel enough. Our favourite hotel during our 3 weeks in Vietnam

Good location
Staff were very friendly, the hotel was very clean, as were the rooms. Bed was comfortable. Having the rooftop pool was incredible for the heat and humidity of the city. Great location for walking too

Great location with all of the main attractions within walking distance. The property was extremly clean, rooftop pool really nice for a swim or drink by the pool and the staff were all very helpful

I would stay elsewhere
The grounds of the hotel are nice. However, we were placed in a wing with horribly loud construction outside our window level that went from the crack of dawn to night. So you cannot enjoy a full nights sleep or take a nap/have a peaceful rest during the day without a jackhammer right outside your window. Also, the construction site leaves on blinding lights that shine directly into the room that the curtains cannot block. Aside from the loud noise and blinding lights, the bathroom situation in the room is so odd. They are in these glass rooms right next to each other. So while you’re taking a shower, you can watch the other person using the toilet. Since they are sealed glass rooms, it smells like sewage and mold.

We had this booked twice and cancelled the second booking. It’s hard to rate because it was just so over priced. The location was great, the room (mould or mildew smelly)and breakfast not really. Same with the gym (no bike) and pool. The wifi was hit & miss. It was worth half of what they were charging. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Shout out to Jennifer, Yen Ho & Ny. And to the fellow who ran away when I said we didn’t really like the room - it made me wonder if all the kindness and friendliness was just fake, to get a good review. You need a ladder to get into the shower, the bathtub/shower is designed so water leaks everywhere. Some electric outlets are out of order and the others sideways so two-prongs tilt out - you wake up to find you weren’t actually charging your phone. The air-con blasts the room with green light and cold air directly on the bed. The only part of the bidet that worked was the heat. Our view was the concrete building next door. It is not quiet.
