I would consider this hotel very average. The check in process felt very hectic and the front desk staff could use a little bit more friendliness. After reading back through the reviews most are pretty spot on. The best part about the hotel is the rooftop. The rooms were a little small and outdated. The shower was the best part of the room. I’m not sure I would stay here again but it made do for the two nights.

Stayed 2 nights. Great location. Walkable to several main attractions. The hotel is a great value and even better if you can get their sale or discount days. The buffet breakfast was plentiful with many fresh options on both days. The rooftop has a small pool (good for dipping and photo op), a bar, gym, steam room and an area for tea time(free afternoon snacks and drinks). I had the detox tea that was exquisite and delicious! The rooftop facilities are small but both afternoons that we were up there, there weren’t many other patrons and it never felt crowded. Everything else that we needed was satisfied. The staff were great. Highly recommend this hotel.

Good selection for breakfast. Nice stylish rooms and free afternoon tea. Gym wasn't what I expected. Very limited equipment and outside on roof top without air-conditioning. Pool was small and limited sunbeds.

We enjoyed a great stay at Au Lac Legend. The location was fantastic for walking around the city. The staff was professional and courteous and the rooms were good sized and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

Truly amazing staff and excellent service. It’s located in an amazing spot to walk all around. Every direction from the hotel there’s either cafes, museum/points of interest, and excellent night life within walking distance. The pool rooftop is where it’s at.

If you are looking for a property that is close to everything, good value for money and very friendly staff you have found it. Staff were very attentive even during the Tet holiday period we stayed. Internal rooms are dark but are quiet compared to rooms with a window!

Pleasant stay
The hotel is in a quieter area of the city, which we enjoyed. Breakfast options were interesting and well-prepared. My husband enjoyed the omelettes, while I loved trying the Vietnamese options--all delicious! Our room was a little funky, kind of dark and a bit cramped, but overall the stay was pleasant. The location was fine, an easy walk to the War Remnants Museum and the Market. I was trying to decide whether to book a food tour online or to try to give the hotel our business and give them the commission by having them book it for me--but the hotel representative tried to upsell me with a tour twice as expensive, so I ended up just booking online. ( Might have been a communication gap, I am not sure, but it was a bit frustrating--although I do understand that they are just trying to make a living! ). The rooftop bar is interesting as was the afternoon tea provided.

Besides there is only one passnger lift, everything is excellent. Staff, property location, breakfast, room are all excellent. Inclusion of afternoon high tea is a great plus.

This hotel is great! Situated at the edge of District one so within good walking distance to most tourist attractions The hotel has a rooftop jacuzzi and a steam room with plenty of seating areas across different levels on the roof. A delicious afternoon tea is provided there included in the price. The staff are welcoming and helpful - a special thank you to Henry who will organise trips and arrange taxis for you, a really pleasant young man. Highly recommend this hotel

Good hotel to stay at for exploring Ho Chi Minh. Lots of places like the war museum, independence palace are all walkable from the hotel. There’s a lovely food market nearby that have bands playing every Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Great location, people, breakfast, and style.
Terrific place to stay. The staff was excellent and helpful at all times. The rooms were nicely decored and pleasant to stay in. Showers had good water pressure and warm water...as well as cool after a hit day out. Bed is comfortable. Location is key! Easy walk to District 1 and the major attraction there. 15-20 minutes to the airport (not in rush hour). Oh! Their breakfast was terrific!

Location of hotel is good to main areas of interests , the staff are friendly and helpful . Breakfast is good ! Unfortunately, there is construction work site opposite the hotel which can be noisy as is the traffics too. Our room faced the main road. The pool is small and would be better to turn the roof top into a roof top bar/cafe.

We really enjoyed the large Vietnamese breakfast spread, especially the sticky rice and various fruits. It was also a great place to have coffee and tea at the rooftop pool in the afternoon. Additionally, the room was clean and comfortable, and the colorful robes were a nice touch. The staff is also very welcoming and genuinely helpful.

I enjoyed the location. Plenty of dining options nearby and not too far to walk to District 1. The restaurant at the hotel was a little crammed but I only had breakfast there so that's being nit picky. The staff were friendly and overall I would recommend this place to stay.

This hotel we in a great location for accessing everything in town and all excursions picked us up. The room was stylish, fabulous rooftop bar and view, and an amazing free breakfast. I highly recommend!
