"We spent a night at The Kingsford prior to embarking on a cruise in October 2025. It was fantastic. The room is very small but exceptionally clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had a room on the 3rd Floor and could see the highway from our window but we didn't hear the traffic at all. There's a mini-bar and tea/coffee making facilities. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Huge shower and thick white towels. We went down to the small bar area on the right of Reception and found a beautiful area reminiscent of Bali - plants everywhere and one side open to fresh air but shielded from the sun. We had a coffee and snack while waiting to check out. BONUS : the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the Port of Brisbane where we embarked the ship. It's roughly 20 minutes drive so we were incredibly grateful to the hotel for providing us with that service. We will definitely stay at The Kingsford for future cruises from Brisbane (we fly up from Melbourne). Highly recommended. "
