"We had an excellent day at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have a free laundry service, which was very helpful. The hotel is located in a great area with lots of shopping and restaurants. Our room was very clean, and we loved the walk-in shower. They provided us with a hospitality tray upon arrival, and they had delicious tea in the lobby every day."

"Nostalgia Hotel (Beijing Yonghe Lama Temple) is overall fantastic place to stay at if you prefer some distance away from the city and get to explore more of the day-to-day environment of locals. It is 15 minutes away from the Beixinqiao Station (Line 5) and it can take roughly 30-40 minutes via walking/ subway to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the Temple of Heaven. Rooms are cleaned every day and restocked with free water and snacks. There is also free 24/7 public laundry and the hotel staff are always prompt with this service! Overall, my experience has been very relaxing and even with some language barrier, the staff are kind and patient with English speakers."

"This was a very memorable stay at traditional hutong residence. Pros Friendly and helpful staff. I felt like I am visiting family. Daily included breakfast and evening tea and dessert. Central location close to subway and major tourist attractions. Con The one con I have is this propertu is located within residential hutong district and outside vehicles are not allowed to enter. Your taxi or tour bus will need to wait for you outside in main road which is 7 min walk."
