"Food are nice and surprising reasonable price. A bit confused at where to check in and who to talk to staff at first. But at the end, staff was very helpful and lovely. Room condition is relaxing as it is a resort but cleanness can be up a notch when there was so spots for dust and little bit dirty. Overall not too bad. Would recommend if you wanna get away from a city life and enjoy some countryside life like me."

"The direct bus from Tokyo stations was so helpful and made this hotel super convenient. We had our bags shipped ahead, as we were checking in they were brought to us no need to even ask for them. The staff were extremely helpful, very English friendly. We made use of the onsen it was lovely, very large, clean, wonderful outdoor area. Lots of space and different temperature pools. We ate at the onsen restaurant, nice to have a place to lounge and have a snack and a drink outside of your hotel room. Breakfast had a lot of options very well rounded meal of western and Asian options. Check out was smooth they will give you a paper of when the airport shuttle will run and will announce it in the lobby when the bus has arrived and is boarding passengers. The shuttle arrived on time and left the hotel on time. Very nice hotel."

"This hotel is in a historic town and feels upscale without feeling stuffy. It's very peaceful and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they welcomed us as if we were guests in their own home. The rooms were simple but refined, and very clean. Each had an air purifier and a dehumidifier. The beds were comfortable, and the shower, sink, and bathroom were always well kept. The hotel is far from the bustle of city life, so plan ahead: Nearly everything in the area closes around 5 pm. Eat an early dinner or eat outside the neighborhood. Local taxis can pick you up. The bus and train stations are about a 15-minute walk. Lawson and FamilyMart convenience stores are close by. I'd recommend it if you want a calm, authentic stay with warm hospitality. Suggested Expedia ratings: Cleanliness 5/5, Staff & service 5/5, Comfort 5/5, Location 4/5. Adjust these to match your experience. Tips: Expedia reviews usually ask for a title and a short "pros and cons" summary. Pros: Quiet, friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds.
