"The hotel and island were beautiful. Very quiet. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Some of the staff speak English and Spanish. But most only speak Spanish. So if your Spanish is limited you may need to use a translator on your phone. But it is pretty easy to order food and plan activities even if your spanish is limited. It is possible to do almost everything with a credit card or US dollars. But I recommend bringing colombian mil pesos as it will be much easier. The food was amazing....

"Highly recommend to any couple. The resort is a great mix - daytrippers come in by boat in the AM, party until 3 pm; VIP party private boats party until 4:30; after, the resort is very peaceful and romantic. Sunsets around 6 pm are beautiful. The rooms are basic but more than enough given you only really will be sleeping in them - comfortable beds, AC, no insects. "To start… I understand there was a change in management just days before we stayed there, so perhaps they are just getting organized… The hotel is on a beautiful piece of property with two lovely, swimming/soaking beaches and a lovely outside dining area. Loud reggaeton blaring… we finally asked them to switch to salsa but still LOUD and constant.If not your thing this will be an issue… The property is in overall good condition… but some key things lacking. Rooms are huge, sheets/beds comfy....

"We stayed here for 6 nights, and enjoyed our time here. Although the rooms are a bit dated and worn, we didn’t expect 5 star amenities and it met our needs for the price. The hotel is very well managed, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and the menu is varied enough so that there are always a few things that that you might choose to eat. Also the prices are reasonable for an island hotel. This place does not see the hordes of daytrippers the hotels on the north shore...

"Our suite was fantastic, with a private pool. Food was decent. The service, especially at the front desk, was pretty horrible. When we checked in there was a woman who didn’t help anyone, and kept rolling her eyes. It took an extra hour to get into our room, and they tried to charge us for transportation we didn’t take.
