Location: 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Warm-friendly staff: 10/10 Breakfast: 10/10 -------------------- This is located in the center of touristic attractions, close to the main metro/subway centre, shopping districts, great food places, yet it is in an alley where it is quiet. The windows are double-paned so no noise from outside is heard inside. It is within 5 minutes walk of the beach, 2 minutes of Yenikapi Metro hub, 5 minutes to the tramwa to the Grand Bazar and Sultan Ahmet district and all the sea-bus and ferry stations. The staff are exceptionally friendly and warm. The breakfast is superb. ----------------------------- We asked for a non-smoking room and they graciously gave us a room that absolutely did not smell cigar- we are really grateful. --------------------------- Thank you everyone at Orient Mintur. We will definitely come back.

It's a very bad experience. Dangerous neighborhood. Pillows, sheets and room are very very dirty. The staff is rude and mean. When you ask a question, they don't always respond. Even when they do, they don't give you a straight answer.

Low quality
Located in a tiny street so getting on/off a car will be a headache Because of that most of transfers will stop a little further and if you have luggage you should pull them with you on the street. Check in experience wasn’t good and I mentioned it before (check in survey). Night shift reception would do nothing and wanted you to ask morning staff. Even one time I asked for some ice, he told me “go out and buy from super market “ !!!!! It was noisy all the time from people working there or even people smoking at the front door . Room AC was horrible, functioning wrong or sometimes it was not working at all. We were lucky that the weather was good enough to leave the windows open for getting some fresh air but at the same time street noise and cigarette smokes coming to the room was a big headache. The only good point about this place was breakfast service and the gentleman working there was always perfect doing his job, respectful and kind. Btw, it’s not a 4 star hotel as it shows on the app. By their own standard it’s a 3 star as printed every where. Never stay there again.

It’s a good choice

It was my 3rd time to come to Istanbul, and it was my best stay because of Orient Minture Hotel. It was the best hotel for the price, location, service, safety, quietness and every aspect you choose for a Hotel!

A comfortable place to stay.
It was very nice staying in this Hotel. Location is brilliant , next to a metro station as well as buses were available. Tourists attractions, shops, markets were quite close. Enough shops and food places around. The breakfast was delicious. Staffs are helpful . One of the fluent English spoken member of staff I think called R..d...n had a good knowledge of the City. He advised us on how to go to Places like Ayub Sultan economically on the day when there were road closures for Euro Marathon in Istanbul. Also followed his guide to pleasantly reach Sabrina Airport by public transport. This made a big difference to our trip. The staff assisted to use hotel computer to check in online for flights. I would say a pleasant place to stay economically.

Hotel was closed when we arrival to hotel at 12:00 AM, breakfast was Poor, they don't have parking for car, they have space in front of the hotel its enough for two car's & a half, the neighborhood is a different story it was dangers & noisy that's why the hotel was closed at midnight.

Reasonably well located but not a 3 star hotel
We cancelled a reservation at a cheaper but similarly located hotel so that we could have a bit more space and relative luxury. If we knew then what we know now then we wouldn't have bothered. The hotel furnishings are extremely old and not very well kept. There were hints of mold on the shower and the door for the mini bar was falling off it's hinges. We checked in as a couple and had paid for a double room but they insisted on giving us a room with 2 single beds and were reluctant to change it. The bath water was also running brown when we arrived although they did fix this problem rather quickly. The breakfast selection was reasonably good but the dining area was small meaning that strangers often had to share tables and a lot of the table cloths, cutlery and plates weren't cleaned properly. The free Wi-Fi was available in almost all areas via multiple access points but the actual internet connection only worked very intermittently and couldn't really be relied upon. . The real problem with this hotel was a human one though. The staff were generally unpleasant and unfriendly, especially the female receptionist who worked through the day. We had pre-arranged flight transfers and the receptionist outright refused to call the company to confirm our collection time since we hadn't arranged the transfers through them. In a country which highly values politeness and courtesy to strangers, the attitude of the Mintur hotel staff was at odds with local culture and exposed a badly ran establishment which is only interested in exploiting foreign tourists for a quick profit. I don't usually review the hotels that I stay in, either positively or negatively, but I felt compelled to do so in this case. Staying at this hotel ruined what would have been an otherwise fantastic short holiday in Istanbul and we were honestly just glad to leave at the end of our trip. The Orient Mintur is not cheap and it is definitely not cheerful. It is a rusting shack of a hotel which may have been nice at one time in the past but is certainly no longer deserving of it's 3 star rating. Travellers will undoubtedly find much better value elsewhere. Avoid.

do not know from where to start.It hotel is bad in many things.suppose to be airconditioning but they turn it off from 1pm till 5pm worse hours of the day so u have to be out in cool place.the first few days at breakfast when I asked for water they get me but after I asked they said extra charge I complain about that believe or not they told me they thought u are Iranian and that is more aweful because everyone pays and the breakfast included.the staff there unfreindly at all do not know customer service at all,mean,rude and trying to rip u off in many ways u do not feel u are in hotel u feel like in police station

Overordnet har det været et fint hotel dog er værelserne ikke som på billedet. Der er meget småt. På hotellet har der været rigtig meget støj også om natten. Morgenmaden har stort set været det samme hverdag hvilket bliver for kedeligt i længden. Personalet på hotellet er meget smilende og hjælpsomme.
