The hotel is fancy and the ambiance was great. The room is super. The staff is friendly. The area around is Ok but close to Airport and easy access through any Careem taxi, took us 2 min to have Careem at the door step. Room was clean and house keeping was wellcoming, room service was cooperative. Will do it again.

I booked to stay at the last moment as I had a 11 hour layover. It was within 15 minutes of Jeddah airport and on arrival well past midnight at around 3:30 am, the front office staff was super friendly and hadn't yet received the expedia confirmation on his system, but he still checked me in. The room was clean and the concierge at the front was also super helpful at that hour. I would totally recommend the hotel for last minute stays.

First of all,no costumer service and the coffee shop at the lobby is never attended, we need to beg before we can get coffee . I love staying at movenpick, but this is not a movenpick standard.

Excellent stay at Movenpick!
My name is Akmal, I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Jeddah City Star and I have high praises for this hotel. This was my first time in Saudi and I had several issues but the staff at this hotel helped me and guided me throughout. A special thanks to Talal, Abdulrazaq and Ibrahim! These young men were very attentive and helpful. Hotel is nice, clean, spacious, centrally located, close to the airport. Food options are plenty and good quality. Overall A+ to the hotel and I highly recommend staying here!

Cockroach in the closet
With the exception of the strange odor at my floor (8th),which they said its due to sterilization, everything was going well, until I was opening the closet and a COCKROACH jumped over my shoulder, they definitely need to handle this issue, I had it on video, but do not think it would be nice to post. not staying there again.
