Premier Hotel Tsubaki Sapporo

10/10 Excellent

"I stay here every year and I'll keep coming back. The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards, everything is clean and well kept, and the staff are consistently excellent. The breakfast buffet is a highlight — great spread, and I never skip it. Location works perfectly for getting around Sapporo. Easily my favorite hotel in the city."

The Royal Park Canvas – Sapporo Odori Park

10/10 Excellent

"I would give 6/5 stars if I could. The staff all were brilliant and helpful, from dinner recommendations, to help with calling taxis and just being prepared for all requests and queries. Especially as my Japanese was not good. The concept of the hotel is very cool. The music in the lounge each night was well picked for the atmosphere. The wifi was strong, the shower pressure was great and the bath filled quickly and was comfortable. The extra amenities were great too. I accidentally packed my toiletries in a suitcase forwarded elsewhere but I was able to to survive with their toothbrush kit, face cleansers, moisturisers, and even used a really nice facemask. As a suggestion, the room I was in was spacious enough for a longer platform or another bench for arranging suitcases in. I was sad to be too late to enjoy the rooftop activities, I will come earlier next time, though I think it would be perfect in autumn and winter. Mostly, I was impressed by the hotels processes and the preparedness of the employees on reception. From folders full of recommendations with paper maps and QR codes for google map directions, to having a form ready for requests to keep items in the hotels fridge/freezer *I asked for a medical device to be frozen overnight before a flight. Also the entrance to the underground train is right out front (exit23). Between this hotel and the lovely people in Hokkaido, I will definitely be returning for a future visit to Sapporo and staying at Royal Park Canvas"

Jozankei Yurakusoan

10/10 Excellent

"Exceptional Japanese ryokan room with modern facilities and great location overlooking a river and with awesome mountain views. Fall colors were just beginning to come in but it was still a beautiful setting. Surprisingly the room had a lot of electrical outlets which made it easy to charge devices. Breakfast was outstanding. Unfortunately, the Expedia listing did not offer a dinner option which likely would have been a kaiseki dinner. Since I only learned that dinner was not included upon checking in, it was too late to order the full kaiseki dinner. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Sapporo."

Tokyu Stay Sapporo Odori

10/10 Excellent

"The whole place is amazing. The staff are super friendly. The room and amenities are clean. The staff wont hesitate to assist you to your needs. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Sapporo. Its central to everywhere where would need to go."

Sapporo Grand Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great Location ! Close to all city points of interest. Very helpful staff. Tran at the info desk was so helpful and was able to help us translate when we had a problem with our flight changes. All the correspondence that we received about our flight changes were in Japanese, he helped us translate through the ANA website and the staff at the info desk even helped us print a hard copy of our e-tickets! Thank you for our wonderful stay at the facility. We will stay there again, in the future when we visit for the “ Sapporo Snow Festival “ 😀😊"
