This is an absolutely excellent property in every way possible. From the immaculate room to pristine property, not to forget the short bread cookies :-). The views are spectacular from the second floor units. Simply marvelous.

Great property with a great view of the ocean. Hostess was very friendly and provided a yummy breakfast. Room was comfortable with patio to sit and enjoy the view! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Beautiful property with a lovely yard and spectacular views!. Room and property very clean and hostess is wonderful and most helpful. She even dropped what she was doing and gave us a ride to the train station when our taxi failed to show up. Breakfast high quality. It is a bit of a walk to get to restaurants--we enjoyed the stroll, but it could be a problem if one is mobility challenged and there without a car. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Kaikoura.

Just loved our stay at Bendamere. Julie is a fantastic host. Superb communication. The shower is so good especially after finishing the Kaikoura cycle trial (thoroughly recommend). Very comfortable bed and finishing touches like the home made shortbread were appreciated. Stylist decor. However the best part of this stay is the scene, waking up to a beautiful sunrise ( keep the curtains open) or sitting on the balcony enjoying the bay and sea waves. Very quiet considering how close to the road this property is. Thoroughly recommend staying here

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The accommodations and property were impeccable and the view of the bay - breathtaking. Julie met us when we arrived and made us feel welcome and comfortable. from the start. Breakfast in the morning in the dining room was delicious with fresh juice, coffee and breakfast croissants made to order. I did not want to leave. 10 stars!

Stunning views from our room. Perfect spot to see the sunrise should you be inclined. Situated between main road and the township on top of the hill,close walk to town and surprisingly quiet, no road noise. Julie and Kerry are lovely hosts, room was spacious, classically modern and clean. Highly recommend.

The property was beautifully maintained inside and out. The hosts were great and Julie provided some lovely personal touches to the breakfast and in the rooms - shortbread was excellent! The view was awesome and one could walk to town in about 10 minutes.

A beautiful retreat
We stayed 3 nights at the Bendamere House B&B in Kaikoura. First impressions were great and Julie, our host was a delight with nothing being too much trouble. The location was fantastic with views across the bay and to the Pacific. This was an ideal location for exploring and taking in all Kaikoura has to offer. Our room had a balcony with a breathtaking view and was so quiet - the perfect place to sit and relax.

A lovely couple with a really special property that have marvellous sea views. The accommodation is very spacious with a high standard of cleanliness. Especially enjoyed the chats around the breakfast table.

Our stay was really good at Bendamere house. Julie was so helpful and went out of her way to make our stay memorable. The view from our room - up a flight of stairs was spectacular. The property was well maintained and comfortable. We are not big brekkie eaters so we did not do justice to the breakfast. Julie insisted on sending us on our way with home made muffins.

Property well kept, beautiful views, walkable to town centre and Julie was a lovely host. Downside was flat pillows, shower not good, could do with bench space around bathroom sink there was nowhere to put your toiletries. For the price we paid I would probably look elsewhere

Thank you for your review. Its always great to know what needs reviewing in the rooms. Can you tell me if the shower was a heat problem or flow issue as its always been a comment how great they are from guests. Sorry about the lack of space in the bathrooms. We have shelving in there but thanks for the feedback that we may need more. The pillows are all ordered for the season as like to replace these regularly but sorry once again you found these flat. What a great find. We loved staying here for the week..close to town.quiet clean. The beds are comfortable and a very good shower. Kerry and Julie are amazing hosts. The views are also amazing.
