I read all the reviews and most of them were great, there were a few negative but there is always one. I hate to say it though but they were right. Don't pay for the breakfast, the hot food was always cold. We ended up just having toast or buying 711 to heat up in the morning. The food and beverage prices are western prices so this is not the hotel to sit at the pool bar, though we did 😅. Our room kept losing lighting, which was so weird and you had to run around in the barely warm water of the shower to get wet. The beds were seriously rock hard, one of the reasons I booked this was the beds had a good star rating?? On a positive, the staff were so prompt and helpful whenever we had an issue. It was always attended to straight away. All the serving and bar staff were great. Can't fault them there.

We showed up at the resort about 5:00 PM, (normal check in time is 2:00 PM). We had to wait for about 1 hour, as our rooms was not ready yet. They were nice to give us a complimentary drink as we waited. Other than that, our stay was fine....

Old hotel, not very clean, overall ok

The hotel is old so not a lot to expect but let's just say the upkeep and cleanliness of the place isn't great All the Sofas and chairs were smelly and dirty like they had never been washed Had a problem with the showers keeping a single temperature, Plates at the breakfast and cups from the pool bar were dirty like they hadn't been washed properly Overall relatively poor-moderate grade in terms of cleanliness Food was fine, drinks were good, pool is good, facilities ok The gym was just... very old and not kept very well, sort of like the rest of the hotel

Property was okay and the rooms were fine but lots of noise nearby from a construction going on in the adjacent plot. Aircon in the room was quite noisy too. The breakfast selection was very good. Unfortunately the pool had small tiles coming off and some were scattered at the bottom of the pool which was very dangerous. Cleanliness average and lots of bugs in the area which meant the fumigation was not top notch considering this was rainy season. Kids were screaming most of the day around the pool area due to the water slide. Kids club was okay but again cleanliness was average so overall the general feel was basic.

Warning, families should stay away

I've been travelling around the world on different hotel standards, but this hotel is one of the worst I've ever experienced vs our expectations. We decided to cut our stay short, evem though we were not able to obtain a refund from the hotel management. That basically tells you everything you need to know. The hotel is fullt worned out, and rooms are exceptionally old. Cabinets falling off, bathroom sink hardly working and AC sounding like a jet motor. It's one of the most uncomfortable beds I've slept in - I would categorise it as Hostel standard. Furthermore, the hotel is without elevators and we (a family of 5, including a baby with a stroller) were put three staircases up. The hotel staff respectfully listened to our complaints and offered a -1 floor room change or transfer to a sister hotel (which was even worse standard after I did an onsite visit). I am shocked that the hotel did not offer to refund our remaining nights. The water slide was temporarily closed without notification to us before arriving You have to walk through an extremely bad smelling garbage area and cross a highway-like road to get to Kamala Beach Families should be aware

Overall the stay was good. If you are looking for a family oriented hotel but this offered activities and amenities geared towards young families. The resort felt outdated. There was a few times when there was no water but the hotel did try and solve the concern immediately. I found the AC in the rooms were too strong so either you had it on and were cold or had it off and then eventually became too warm. The staff is very friendly.

The service was very poor took 3 days for room service to come fix a the two TV that was not working and even then when they finally did replace them they did not tune them or connect them to the setbox. After 7 complaints I gave up I found trhe service very very poor for the price we paid for the rooms

My stay was absolutely wonderful. The room where my husband, our three children, and I stayed was right in front of the pool, and after breakfast, the kids changed in swimsuits to enjoy water play. Although it was disappointing that only half of the pool area was available due to maintenance, we were glad that we could use the pool at a sister hotel thanks to an offer from the hotel. The staff’s service was excellent, always greeting us with a smile and kind words. At the kid’s area, I felt that I can leave my kids in their care with peace of mind, and the children were VERY happy. The nearby beach area and restaurants are just about 10mins drive from the hotel and we enjoyed the beautiful beach scenery and the local townscape from the view of a taxi or tuk-tuk. This is a highly recommended hotel in Phuket.
