"An Exceptional Family Getaway - Exceeded All Expectations! Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5 Stars) Review: Our recent 3-day,2-night stay was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we arrived until we (reluctantly) left, every detail was perfect. A huge standout was the breakfast—it was absolutely superb and far beyond our expectations. The variety and quality were excellent, and it was a fantastic start to our days, especially with our family. What truly made our stay memorable, however, was the incredible friendliness of the entire team. We were greeted with genuine smiles by everyone: from the front office who ensured a smooth check-in, the security who made us feel safe, the bell hops who were always helpful, the cafe staff who were so attentive, to the housekeeping team who kept our room impeccable. Even the staff at the pool and gym were wonderful and engaging. It’s clear that this hotel has a culture of excellent service, and it made our family trip so relaxing and enjoyable. "Situated on Gurney Drive with view of the ocean and where dining and shopping options are plentiful. Hotel offers free shuttle to shopping mall. No beach so ocean swimming is not an option. The hotel does have an infinity pool. Sago, the hotel restaurant, serves a variety of food including Australian/English, Malay, Chinese, Indian with limited Japanese selections in a buffet style. Did not try the other restaurants on site. Room is very comfortable and amenities are on par with the luxurious Marriott standard. Hotel staff very friendly and available to help with transportation and other information. English is widely spoken by all the staff. Would definitely return for another stay."

"Wonderful place to stay in Penang. Great food options in the hotel and also nearby. Easy walk around the top of Penang and nice to be just out of the busier centre. Lovely rooms and decor throughout and the pool was superb. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant. "

"Amazing village tour with Sheik! It was highly informative regarding land use, nature, and nature’s medicine. Also met a few lovely villagers who were ever so kind in sharing their garden’s ubat, and introduced me to their friendly & beautiful kitties! And then there was Fauzi with his incredible knowledge of the tides, how to foretell a tsunami, and botany. Overall a great stay!"

"Charming mid-size hotel exuding colonial architectural character. The hotel feels like coming home with the calm ambience. The hotel was excellent all round and nicely located on BTU Ferrenghi. Small touches like balcony bathtub were nice surprise. I would say that some parts of my room need minor maintenance (better cleaning of limescale and one of the sink taps wasn’t working). I would definitely come back to this property for another relaxing stay. Thank you. "
